  4. Very close to purchase but here is where I'm at but 2 dealers waging war. trail boss full load 68500 out the door with a few extras for 48200 Never pay asking price...
  5. Hey Denali'19 not to poke old wounds but with a park assist warning it may be just that one of your sensors outside of the truck is dirty, frosted over, etc. and if it is you will get this warning on the dic and not be able to activate with your buttons until it is cleaned off. Just checking.
  6. Seen this on a few hc, and ltz today, gatorbacks with those exact colour plugs!
  7. irish4life8911 This guys profile is where I got the idea from and his pictures show before and after. I think it looks awesome.
  8. Glad it turned out for ya. As mentioned above I also put in the rear block and gives just a tad of rake. Almost looks level from front to back. But having said that all guys have or want different looks. From there I put on 275 65 20 ko2s and think it turned out well. I don't think it sacrificed ride and or gas mileage a hole lot. I'm enjoying it and makes it look more like a truck. Would post a picture or 2 but damed if I could figure it out.
  9. Sorry forgot to say I used this video to do my rc kit on the 16 gm and worked like a charm.
  10. Did this on my 2014 and now my 2016 gmc sierra.
  11. I used the readylift video on YouTube. It is simple video on how to put there 2.25 leveling kit on but very similar to the rc kit. Took me about 3 hours from start to finish.
  12. Well got mine done today...took her out tonight and wow what a difference. I could even notice the difference in town with street lights on. Makes one hell of a difference, having said that I may adjust the lights a bit higher. Low beam just a bit low for my liking but 40% at least brighter as stated in early post would be most accurate. If your sitting on the fence or your dealer is nieve on the subject push for it! They know whats' going on,there just being $%^t heads about it...
  13. yeee haw Monday morning getting the lights updated! Now to make sure the right bulbs are installed and seating correctly before I leave the dealer... thanks gents for all the great legwork you have done for the rest of us!
  14. Well boys, got truck back from dealer for some warrenty work. Mentioned to the service manager about the tsb on the lights. Was not aware but gave him the number and tada! He brings it up...lights ordered and work order in. Now to wait until they call me when they are in... Well boys, got truck back from dealer for some warrenty work. 15. That is some good work by my fellow gm owners! Thanks so much for your info...Truck in for some warrenty work you will be sure I mention this info and will see where I get. Again thanks gents for your persistence in this matter!
  16. Well boys 18500km on my 14 gm slt loaded to the hilt....The other day the seat started to move....As other did I installed the engineered hose clamps and rubber..haha and works like a charm. This r&d that these so called engineers do on these trucks better take note!
  17. Hey YQ Atari yes I have shock extensions, my accessory and dealer told me I would need them. Having said that I'm not sure how to post pics but she's all done. Put 305 50 20 cooper ltz tires on oem crome rims(20"). Ride Is a little stiffer on front end but good on back end,. Towed my boat the other day 17.5 tracker and pulled like a dream with a level stance. Very happy with outcome.
  18. Well the readylift 2.25 front level kit is installed, and a 3" block on the back...Like the rake plus I tow a boat, sled and quad so needed it for sag. Anywho looking at beefing up the tires a little. Looking at nitto terra grapplers or cooper zeon ltz. Looking at 305 50 20...Thinking they should work by size calculator but any experience would help if you would like to chime in!
  19. Mine doing the same. All clean clear plugs and wires good. Shop has looked at them once already and will be going back in on Monday. Really like this feature for parking in tight spots especially the front sensors. When I put my truck in reverse the front middle sensors come on and state blocked, temp unavailable. Would be nice to have this feature working proper for I did pay for this option!
  20. I have the Truxedo low pro qt as well. Real nice low profile cover. Easy to put on and take off. Snaps into place and is released by one handle on the back drivers side. Also has two spring loaded tensioners on the front that can be adjusted for tightness. The Velcro on each side slides with the tensioners, which is very good in my opinion. Best of all it has a life time warranty on everything as long as it is bought new and not second hand. Oh and you can also put box rails on the bed if you choose with this cover as well. Works and looks good on my 14 gmc sierra slt z71.
