  1. Here is the screen shot from the Michelin website. M + S
  2. No interest in that gate either..just one more jamb to wipe out after I wash it.
  3. We shall see..They are winter rated and the reviews have been good.
  4. I just put on a set of the new Michelin LTX Platinums in 295/65/20. So far the nicest riding, quitest tire I've ever had on an HD truck.
  5. And now back to our regularly scheduled programming..
  6. Thanks for the info! My current setup is safe and works but...I'm going to have to test this. I just need it to trigger the relay, I wonder how they do it with a plow setup?
  7. It was really due to the fact I’ve been towing more frequently than planned. I make trips pretty much every weekend going back and forth about 230 miles to our cabin. It has nothing to do with the gas combo itself, it was great, the 10spd was flawless and I was very impressed. Really just wanted more passing power on the single lane roads.
  8. Unfortunately no. I have a wireless remote setup that works but still not as convenient as tapping the high beam circuit. Do you need a switch in the cab if you're only adding an under hood light?
  9. Traded in the 6.6 gas 10spd 3500 HC, back into a 24 3500 LTZ Duramax.
  10. Exactly what I was looking for. On the one hand I'm thinking about going back to the diesel, on the other, really like the looks of the Canyon Denali...I need counseling! lol
  11. I’ve driven HD trucks for years but have not done frequent heavy towing in a while and if I do I have HD work trucks I can borrow. As the title suggests, can anyone share experience in making this change? Thanks
  12. This was an issue with mine until they replaced the rear actuator assy. 30,000 miles on my 24 now and its been great! The 10spd has been awesome, "almost" has me recovered from going with the gas motor over the diesel.
  13. I'll keep this short. I've had several diesels including recent 20 & 21 DMax 3500's. Both were very reliable and never left me stranded. The only issue was a DEF heater problem on the last one that had the truck sitting at the dealer for a month waiting for the part. I'm in MN too and never had a problem in cold weather with the diesel, some nights double digit below zero. My current truck is a 2024 Gas 3500 SRW HC. It was a bit of a transition going from the diesel power but I've grown to really like this gasser. Plenty of power to tow what you need, just won't get up to speed as fast as the diesel. The 6.6 is reliable and far less to go wrong than the diesel, one of the main reasons I have it. I'll be honest though, I tell myself that to keep from going back to the diesel! lol I tow quite a bit and the 6.6 gas with the 10spd has been awesome. My opinion, if you're not sure and don't really need the diesel, save the 10k and get the 6.6/10spd..you won't be disappointed.
  14. Mine frequently does this and I chalk it up to the system recognizing the trailer, not really an issue for me as its only about a 2 second delay. You could try checking the ground on your trailer. Does it start working on its own while parked or after you've started driving?
  15. I thought the Valvoline article was informative, was just poking fun of how they sum it up with the Instant oil change GDI service and full modern synthetic oil as the solution. That said, I too know little to nothing about the new Valvoline products so maybe the laughs on me??
  16. So problem solved, Easy GDI service and modern engine full synthetic!
  17. That's odd. I thought the 1500's with the updated interior received it but not the HD's, learn something new everyday.
  18. You must have added it. The wireless option was new to the 2024 model.
  19. 2022 Didn't have wireless CarPlay.
  20. 20,000 on mine now. You're gonna love the 10spd.
  21. I ran the power from the battery but on the previous gen (2023 and older) you could tap the high beam fuse to activate the relay. The 2024 doesn't have a high beam fuse that I could find. I ended up installing a wireless remote that clips to my visor, I didn't want to do any drilling or fishing of wires into the cab. I would still prefer them to be on the high beam circuit but after extensive searching couldn't find any solutions on the web.
  22. EM50 project!
  23. Except CamGTP who posted just before you. Lol. I sometimes do, sometimes don’t, never has caused any issues when I let it run.
  24. Your signal issue is the reason both my headlamps were replaced. They would work fine for a while but the problem would come back randomly. I have not had the issue since both assy's were replaced.
  25. Update on mine..I'm at 19,000 miles now on my 2024 High Country 3500HD Gas. I had some issues early on (Both headlights replaced and tailgate release actuator) but have not had any issues for 10,000+ miles. Very happy with the truck and surprised to say I won't be going back to a diesel. Love the 10spd gas combo that seems to get stronger and stronger. Anyway, just trying to shed a positive light on it as I felt the pain with the 'glitches' early on.
