  1. I got a question. I see a lot of guys wanting to disable their V4 mode when they get a tune. I read that the old style of motor had issues with the AFM burning oil but haven't read any of these new models doing it or have I missed it? Please if you can explain why you are or are not disabling the V4 mode
  2. I like it as I feel a truck should be big and mighty although the more I look at my truck it just doesn't feel big to me anymore. 37s??? maybe haha but I like it and got 35" trail grapplers and daily drive it all over and have just hit 22K miles and no complaints. Don't regret it at all
  3. Its all how you drive really. When I drove my truck from here to St. Augustine my average was between 16-18 with the lower end up in the mountains of NC
  4. between 65-75mph its was pretty flat going from morristown,tn to sevierville,tn. I tend to drive faster now that I have a V8 lol
  5. With the basic Diablo Tune I was seeing 17 mpg and if on a flat interstate up to 21mpg. Im playing more with my custom tuning from Lew so right now its a bit low but am working on finding the right spot to give me more power but with the mpg too
  6. I hope Im the right Steve you were talking about lo l if so the lift is a 7" Rough Country and the wheels are 18x10 -24 offset and yes 35s. I am not sure if I would have to remove the mud flaps as I removed them when it was only a few days old haha I don't like mud flaps lol
  7. So far I've had no problems with my truck and all is fine. I do understand the bed height issue though as it sucks to get something that in the middle of the bed behind the rear window from the side of the truck. Then again Im 6'3 and the height isn't bad getting in or out as say someone 5' something and I guess the type of person you are. Just like my grandma loves the truck and hops in one handed with high heels and smoking a cig while some of my friends are like wheres a ladder lol on that not though I do find the bumper steps useless lift this high and would rather use the middle of the bumper to step up and I have a size 14 foot and always catch the top of my foot on the step and it hurts like a you know what. still bruised there after a week lol
  8. I have a 7" Rough Country lift with 35s and go through turns all day everyday and at low and high speeds and never have had this issue so I think it may be a Zone issue
  9. That's weird youre having those issues with the trail grapplers because mine hum very little out of all the mud tires I've owed and no vibration what so ever and ride just like my stock tires did except at coming to a stop and going from a dead stop you can feel the knobs in the tires
  10. Yes Im glad I went with 18s. Was gonna do 20s but I ended up with this setup because I had seen it before and liked it plus saved a little on tires and wheels compared to 20s
  11. Yes! Finally! I like the new look 7" Rough Country
  12. The only rubbing I have is on the drivers side when I turn in or back into a spot or driveway sharply on an incline like a steep drive or a hill but its very little and its on the black little cap on the bottom of the fender like where I guess the dealer puts mud flaps. Its so tiny of a rub im not gonna trim anything
  13. 18x10 XD Strike -24 on 35s
  14. 7" RCX Suspension Lift 18x10 XD Strike -24 Offset 35x12.50x18 Nitto Trail Grappler
  15. 7" RCX Suspension Lift 18x10 XD Strike -24 Offset 35x12.50x18 Nitto Trail Grappler
  16. I aint got money lol im only 20. I just used the money I saved to mod my xterra and put it into my truck
  17. Close....Its getting the 7" lift put on then a mud bath
  18. Well along with my new wheels I got today (18x10 XD Strike -24) I also ordered my new tires 35x12.50 Trail Grapplers Can yall guess whats happening to the truck next week?
  19. Thanks and I know a lot will laugh and not understand but Its all actually spray painted with rustoluem Silver metallic which matches great and then a lot of clear on top of it. I know some don't understand why spray paint a truck but over the years I find way more enjoyment out of my rig when I do this myself and plus Im not afraid to paint a vehicle. I completely sprayed bedliner on my xterra and bedlined my headliner and a lot of things. Call me crazy but $30 goes a long way for me
  20. Just ordered my Rough Country 7"
  21. To those of yall with 6-7" lifts and 35s and have the computer set to read the new tire size what mpgs are you getting and any mods to get that.
