  1. Ive been searching for some solid information about my particular set up, and how it will function, so I thought id ask people who may know better than me. Currently, I have a 21 Silverado RST with a 5.3, 6 Speed, and 3.21's. I am looking to do this kit with a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G2's in 295/55/20. Essentially, the same as the photos of the Red RST on the Rough Country site. Ive done a similar set up on a previous truck and it worked well, but I had a 6.2L and 3.73's. Does anyone have a similar set up to my current truck and can give me some feedback on loss of power, loss of any towing capability, acceleration? I get that this set up is not ideal for a lift and tires, but does this size have a huge impact on performance? Thank you in advance for any insight.
  2. RESOLUTION: I got my truck back today from the dealership after they had it for two days. They road force balanced the tires, and found that a front one had too much weight on it, 5oz too much from the factory. They also found a bent rim. Now, I am fairly confident that i did not bend the rim. At this point, it seems as if the vibration is gone, but i need to drive it on the highway more, which i haven't had a chance to do very much. He did mention that this is the first time they have seen this and would be looking for another truck to do these tests to. They also talked about this new road force balance machine that took a lot of skill to use correctly. in fact they trained a lot of techs on it with my truck. The truck feels better than it did when i got it. Hopefully this helps someone, however it seems that people are having bigger issues than simple tire balance. My dealer is Lafferty Chevrolet in Warminster PA. The service manger is Johnny and he is spectacular. I got the impression that alot of the equipment he used to diagnose it was new and just getting in use. I can't say enough good about this dealer, they dove head first into this issue and at this point, did a great job.
  3. Yeah, it got to the point yesterday that they were going to be a while, so they gave me a truck to take home and would call me in the morning. Im going to be as patient as possible and let them do their thing. It was fairly clear right away that they were willing to give it all they had to try and fix it. Whats interesting is that the tech and the manger that drove it said they felt the vibration right away at 40-45, which i never felt ( i assumed it was just the way the truck felt) and it never bothered me. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE they gave me a 2015 Yukon Denali to drive home. Which is a blast to drive. The manger who knows I'm a hunter just said "no dead animals in the back". Hahahah... ill try.
  4. Mine is Lafferty Chevrolet in Warminster PA, they have always treated me like a VIP.
  5. Well, I am also a victim of the famous shake. Mine is at 70+ and also vibrates the center console and seats. I talked to my service writer at my dealership who immediately contacted the Service Manger. He is handling it personally. They have already sated that they would be more then willing to assist me with this. The Sales Manager immediately jumped on this forum to read peoples complaints, as they have no heard of this issue yet. He started with road force balancing the tires, and then hooked the entire truck up to several vibration sensors, and drove it on the highway. When he returned he stated that he immediately felt the vibration and the truck "failed" the tests. As i sit here in the dealership now, they have seven techs looking at the front end of my truck and he's using it as a "teaching" tool to the other techs. He said he thinks he has the issue addressed however has not come back to me with exact details. I will be sure to post when i have a resolution, hopefully we can get to the bottom of it. I will post with any updates as it gets addressed or not. However HUGE shoutout to my dealer who has been more than accommodating with the issue, and seemingly have done everything they can to address my concerns.
