I had my pump replaced through an extended warranty plan in February when it went out. I almost drove through my garage wall when the pump decided to shit the bed.

Man screw this AFM bullshit!!! I am currently waiting my truck to be fixed due to two stuck lifters from it. I am on here as we speak to research the best way to turn this "feature" OFF! I do about 90% city driving and on my daily commute, Id bet the AFM is on majority of the time. I bought a V8 for a reason. I shouldn't have to give a little gas, then wait for the computer to make its mind up before I get all 8 cylinders firing as I need more power on my daily drive. I get this has its purpose, but in the city it seems to constantly keep this truck guessing and therefore making for a terrible driving experience. Sorry for my rant. I have the red ass still this morning and my coffee has not kicked in yet.

Got my truck back in 1 day from the dealership.... I had two issues in regards to the AC system. The condenser was leaking as were one of the lines I had replaced 11 months ago. Service department installed the condenser with the foil, part number # 84496856, and both lines running from compressor to the condenser.

Add me to the repeat costumer list on this AC issue. Almost 1 year to the day mine stopped blowing cold. Well, this morning it happened again...... At this point, Id welcome the shinny tin foil condenser to my grill if it works.

What am I missing here? Why was yours not covered when you are under the mileage they specified?

That info came from someone I do business with that said he was waiting on the back ordered part. I assumed he was being honest and never followed up.

This model truck has two major flaws in the cooling system. One being the condenser and the other is the high pressure lines cracking in the bends. I got lucky *knocks on wood* and had the hoses replaced along with a bracket under warranty when mine started blowing hot in July. If your is the condenser, well, get in line. This part was still on a national back order as of a month and a half ago. Fixed on your dime too if your warranty is out......Thanks GM.

Add me to the list. Dealer said they were told it's a 2 month wait. Thanks GM love driving my truck in the Louisiana summer with no AC. Guess ther definition of "professional grade" and mine are way different. Can't exactly drive clients around town with 90 degree heat in the cab.

Man now Im getting nervous. I have 33, 000 on my 2014 and a couple times the air will go warm but cool off again about 30 seconds later. Its done this a couple times last summer but did it last week twice. I haven't had a chance to bring it in yet.

Ive heard this same sound as well, but I have the 5.3

Installed a magnaflow muffler couple days ago. Had the guy remove the AFM and last cat back there as well. I love the sound it produces but the drone is borderline unbearable. I wanted a new 3" pipe from the muffler back but the guy didn't listed and welded in new pipe (stock size) where needed. Would this make the drone louder than on a 3" system? Not real happy with the piece meal job I got so I'm looking to replace it with what I originally wanted.

Think I figured out my issue last night. I have a bad relay. Im only getting one light to work and when I switch the relay around the other side woks.

I got mine on the bolt just above yours in that pick. I will have to try this location tonight and see if it will come back on. This has been a huge pain in the ass

Where is everyone hooking up their ground for the Morimoto Sierra kit? I have this kit and have moved my ground a couple times due to the drivers side light not turning on. Currently its on the fender brace. Yes I have sanded the paint away to get to bare metal. This kithas been on my truck for a year now and the last 4 months Ive been having fits keeping the drivers side working. When I call TRS they keep telling me to start with the ground and go from there. I have flip flopped every part of this kit at one time or another and it will work for a couple weeks then the drivers side will go out. Its like a broken record with this kit and TRS. My next step is to take the kit out and trash it. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I ordered the same thing yesterday. Are those the default fuel line hoses they offer with the kit? Are they sufficient for this setup or do they need to be upgraded to something stronger?

I noticed this suction sound on mine yesterday when I got home. Like Southern Sierra I could see the hose had a sucked in shape and when I squeezed it the sound stopped. Yesterday was almost in the 80's so ovesly the power steering lines I used cant take the heat. So im off to get new hoses.

Im running mine empty and have no suction noises at all. Cant tell its there.

Drive about 100 miles yesterday and this morning I checked the can. I have just enough to cover the bottom. Amazing how gm figures this much oil is ok to be run back through the engine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Took the throttle body off and snapped that shot looking into the manifold.

Installed a catch can yesterday and cleaned the throttle body, intake tube and manifold. I had oil and grime all over the place. This is at 8400 miles......... I hate to see this motor at 80,000 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Just finished the install. Man am I glad I did a catch can. I cleaned the throttle body while I was in there. I literally had oil dripping from it. It was completely dirty and full of grime. That was just the bottom of one side. It took 4 shop towels to get all the shit off and clean. And the catch can I currently have 8400 miles at time of install. Installing this today and I must have missed what side is the engine goes to the inlet/outlet.does it matter?
