I would have to buy another trailer to get more tongue weight because I have a loader on the front and I had the tiller in the bucket with a bush hog on the back.The trailer is 18' and with all that it hung over the back 2' and at that the trailer is close to being maxed out with all that on it so no mater which way I go I really need another trailer my truck pulls it fine just to much for the trailer IMO. The trailer is rated for 7k lbs ( 2 3500 lb axils) the trailer it self weighs 2k tractor 3500 lbs bush hog 800 tiller 500 so there's 6800 lbs dry weight if I were to buy another bumper pull say 20' I would really only gain about a foot more towards the tongue

in not sure because of tonuge weight seeing how there's a lot more on a gooseneck then bumper pull it does not really say much about the ratings of one in the owners manual for a1500 would it be more for a gooseneck or the same as a bumper pull. I would be around 8k pounds trailer and all on it ( truck is rated for a max trailer weight of 9100 lbs and max GCWR of 15000 lbs ) and if you use the same 20% as you do with a bumper pull that would be 1600 pounds the owners manual say 1200 pound with weight distribution but that's for a bumper pull

Thinking about going to a gooseneck over my bumper pull for my tractor to get ride of the sway when I have everything on the trailer I can't get enough tongue weight is there anyone that pulls a gooseneck with a 1500 and what are your experiences with them I have the 6.2 with the 8 speed and it pulls it fine now other then the sway but the trailer it self will add 1400 lbs

how's it sound in V4

Mine has always made a squeak when going back to v8 but now when it is in v4 and under a light load it almost sound like a valve rattle or tick it might just be the flapper but I would like to know for sure

Mine has started ticking while it v4 mode dealer sated they think it is a exhaust noise has any one else had this problem as what was it

They all sound like that I don't know if mine has gone away or I just don't hear it anymore but it was very noticeable when I first got the truck

Had my truck in yesterday and they said it is in the transmission and to bring it back next week. so a new transmission at 3k mikes valve body work at 25k and now a shutter that feels like the wheel is lose at 38k maybe they will just put another new transmission in it

I have a vibration 45 to 65 that comes and goes only when cruising using my foot or cruse control will not do it while costing it will start shutting for about 1 sec and stop then do it again it's like an endless loop I'm taking it to the shop next week is this what y'all are having problems with to ?

do you have to do this every time you start the truck

Cut the keeper in a way so that the pin want stop it so you can get more adjustment but make sure the a arm is not hitting the frame afterwards but it also might start going back positive just have to try it and see

What's holding you back from more adjustment the keeper or does it start going back positive ?

Mine came on took it to the dealer and it was 2 quarts low and the dealer change the oil last

Does any one get a oil smell in the cab after they empty the can I don't spill any and I always smell it after I empty mine

most p ratted tire have a max psi cold around 40 to 44 so yes 40 is fine

I see it as a good thing for moral in the plant because who want to make lees then the guy doing the same job next to you and trucks cost so much because people keep buying them not because of unions you can obviously afford it. But I would love to see all assembly be brought back to the U.S. That include the ones in Canada that's been there for 30 plus years
