    Yes it's an open trailer. The trailer it self is 2000 lbs and I had a 850 lb 4wheeler and 250 lb mower and probably anouther 100 lbs of stuff on it.

    So for this tank but it's only going to go down the more miles I get on it usual get about 19.5 but the DIC will say 20.5 mine is a CC standard box 6.2 4x4

    I'm not knocking anyone on here but I have stock tires and the best I have seen on the DIC is 22.9 and that was all highway at 62 mph for 180 miles so to say you have oversize tires that weigh 55 lbs or more ( all LT tires do ) and I have stock ones that weigh 35 lbs and your still getting the same mileage and my DIC is always one mpg to the good ( high ) and the best I have ever done hand caluclated was 19.6 witch I am very happy with. But if there's a secret to getting 22 with big heavy tires please let me know I'll even pay you for it if it works

    Has any one had the stock bed step put on and if so how does it fold up it says you cant use it with 4" assist steps makes no sense to me why you can't have both

    Looks to me like all it has in it is steel wool or something like that basically a its closed loop breather ?

    What about the two vacuum line on the front of the valve covers on the left and right sides that go into the intake tube should they also go threw a catch can ?

    My 6.2 dose the same thing and ONLY does is going from v4 to v8 so is it the flaper or something todo with the AFM ??

    Yeah most of the old breathes had some type of foam in the to keep the oil from splashing out but unless it was rotted out or the oil drains in the heads might of been pluged and not letting the oil drain out quick enough. This is the first I have heard of the catch can makes me wanna look more into it. Has any one ever had the stuff in the catch can tested to see exactly what it is and how much is oil or water because like someone else said ain't no way that much oil can being sucked out after 5k miles and not see A loss when you change the oil

    This might be a stupid question but why can't we just put breather on it like the old days what's the draw back ??
