  1. My trailer is about 3500lbs on the scales and about 500lbs on the tongue. I'm running a WD hitch this season. I sag pretty good as it is and we got blown around a bit last fall Ccsb 4.3 and a 21' hybrid Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

  3. EcoTec3 4.3 V6 Towing

I have a ccsb with 3.42s I've towed my wife's grand am on a dolly with no issues in the past. I also have a 3500lb travel trailer. Does ok. Rpms around 2400. Mpg blows but it does okay Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  4. I have a '14 ccsb 4.3 and purchased a 21' hybrid camper dry weight of 3150lbs (per the scales) we got a chance to use it one weekend and it weighed 35xx lbs. I imagine once we really get using it this coming spring it'll be loaded up pretty good. I can't see an extra 500lbs but I'm not ruling it out either. Would my set up benefit from a weight distributing hitch or am I overthinking this. I'm getting between 10-12mpg towing it, rpms sit around 22-2400rpm and trans temp stays under 200F. Truck has a 2" rc level and zone 1.5" add a leafs out back. Thanks in advance The attached photo of the set up is before I added the rear leafs Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  5. RC 2" level up front. Zone Add-a-leaf in the rear. Ride is a bit stiffer but not obnoxious. Keeps the truck level with my travel trailer Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk
  6. I have read this entire thread and I'm still confused as hell. I have a 2014 running io5 non navi. 8" screen. All I want is to add Android auto. If I purchase this what side affects am I looking at and will it work?! Also if anyone has other insight on a cheaper way to accomplish this I appreciate it https://digital-dash-solutions.com/product/2014-2015-io5-with-carplay-android-auto-upgrade/ Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk
  7. 2014+ Leveling Kits

I have a '14 I'm using a rc 2" front level and it sits dead nuts level at 38 1/2" front and rear. I'm looking to do the zone add a leaf in the rear to help with sag and give me some rake back. Anyone running this set up give some insight to how much higher the rear will sit and maybe post a few photos?? Thanks in advance pic is my leveled truck with about 1800lbs in the bed. 8. Why not just post the price as requested in marketplace forum?? Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk

  11. Family has an old 70 c10 shortbed we just pulled out of storage and are in the process of getting it back on the road. On top of drop spindles, disc brakes and lowering springs in the rear (2"/3" drop) we will need new wheels. I'm thinking about using those new style work truck wheels and popping the chrome clad off similar to those BIG 10 trucks all over the internet these days, it's a 6 lug truck now. Does anyone have any experience with late model wheels on these trucks as far as if backspacing will work and will and also what size 17" tires I should be on the look out for??? TIA
  12. Yup. It's in the paid version not the free. I upgraded thanks Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk

  15. My '14 v6 ccsb has 67k on it. I've owned it since 41miles. I'm still very happy with it. I wish the mpgs were better since I gave up the v8 but after countless bedfulls of materials and what have yous and handful of toys and cars towed I've never once thought "hmm wish it had more power" as far as issues. *Knock on wood* a few warranty items for the v4 shake and seat movement both of which have been remedied. Enjoy your truck Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk
