Lol, I'm sure he does this on 5.3 threads as well. Some people just have a need to justify their own choices by putting down others. A bigger is better kind of mentality. On another note, I'd like to reiterate how much I love my 4.3 as it was the best choice for ME and my lifestyle. I drive a 2018 5.3 for work and I honestly wouldn't trade if I had the choice. The difference is minimal to me in day to day driving.

Love it man, super low profile. I've been debating taking my current steps off for a cleaner look but I don't want to lose the functionality. Glad I have another option now.

Red tow hooks. It was a real pain getting these out. Had to cut the bolt on one side and put a new one in.

Issue for me is the infrastructure just isn't in place. If charging your EV was as convenient as getting gas then I'm sure a lot of us would be buying into it. I also like the approach GM is taking in that the hummer (from what we've seen) looks a lot like the hummer we're used to. I hate the "futuristic look" that the new EV trucks are going for with weird shapes and bodylines. If I switch to electric, I want it to look and feel familiar to the gas trucks I'm used to driving. And honestly, who doesn't want torque on demand?!?

I painted mine with engine enamel. Colour and finish turned out great but after a few months its not holding up that great. Interested in what folks are paying for powder coating.
