So just to state this. The '18 z71 LT stock rancho shocks, suck. I've owned a '14 ram big horn 4x4 and the suspension was way better. This set up in my z71 is garbage. Pogo's are dangerous on some freeways at 70+mph. The speed bumps are atrocious. Even mild mannered potholes and ruts jostle you all over. I will say that washboard roads seem to be quite pleasant tho. I cant believe chevy thought this was a good suspension. PURE GARBAGE! Will upgrade soon. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Not prop up rough country but they sell fender wells that get rid of the rub. You can also cutout where they rub. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

305/60/18 is 32-1/2" tall, 12" wide, 18" wheel. Couldnt you offset with a spacer? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

I have an '18 z71 and im going with the 5100 setup. Will go 1 setting below max on billsteins and not sure on the rear tho. I think i will go 1" taller than stock. Will run 305/65/r18 when my stock are done. I like the z71 wheels and will powdercoat. I got a quote for $80 per wheel from a local shop. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Yes from what i read that is true. If you go taller than 33" tires U WILL RUB. Any taller lift you will need new UCA's and a bonified suspension lift. At least 2k for all that. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Bought a new '18 LT Z71 crew cab in December. Its my second of this platform. What a crap ride. Way sloppy with those Ranchos. Lots of leaf spring chatter. Cant wait to pull those crap Ranchos off and put Billstein on. Just wondering if the shock swap is enough to correct the sloppy bouncy ride. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  12. Trans issues

new here hey everyone. 2014 silverado 1500 bought new 7/14. got around 9400 miles on my truck. everytime i cold start it blows puff of blue smoke. dealer told me to wait 10k miles so i am. also having same shifting issues as everyone else still. downshift from 3rd to second clunks into gear sometimes. also still searches for right gear while slow driving. when i stomp on accellerator it has a big delay before it engages. also very slugguish when accelerating uphill and on freeway. im really leaning towards a reprogram. have to take a trip to dealer soon and will bring all this up to them. i think alotof this has to do with the cylinder deactivation.ive been a chevy owner for years and never had this issue. if this truck wasnt under warranty i would probably trade in. it makes me not enjoy my purchase. i feel like something is going to break when i drive it. hopefully the dealer will do something.very aggravating to me.
