  1. Yeah those are pretty sweet, wonder if they work for silverado.
  2. Thats a sick truck, what wheels are those? Saw them one other time. I know they are GM but havent seen the part number.
  3. More pictures from all angles and in bed?
  4. Never seen pro comp but over 100 for a spacer and bolts seems nuts. I'd look at motofabs kit. 50 bucks for lower spacer and solid aluminum. Instructions were good as well. I'm amazed they charge that much, you could probably drive to me for less haha. Should try to find a local member willing to help and buy him a case of beer.
  5. Thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing how it sounds. I'll def get some pics and vids up.
  6. Got my tips in for the GM Borla and they are pretty. Sorry about the plastic it is under the clamps and didnt want to take it off yet. No time to install it until next weekend.
  7. Got the deal of a lifetime on a GM Borla on craigslist for 400. It was for a 5.3 but guy didnt have a part number. I went and bought it anyway, if it was for a different wheelbase I could have just added some length to the I-pipe. Lucky me it is the right one for Crew Cab with Short Bed after I contacted Borla. Only thing he didnt have was the tips so had to buy those at retail. Got them for 134 shipped though so not too bad. Hoping to install it all in the next week or so.
  8. Yep used to be there, I just started turning wrenches in high school on my Camaro nearly 10 years ago. My dad was a Machine Repairman so I had some backup when needed. Its a great feeling though doing that stuff yourself and growing skills. I highly recommend it, if you were local Id lend a hand. Might be able to find another local member. If you cant, buying the level yourself and just showing up/calling around to local mom and pop shops may get you a better install price.
  9. I'd be interested in these too, I have stock chrome LTZ 20s for trade. It's in the pic, 265/65/18
  10. Haha like the disclaimer at the start, but do what's best for you man. Enjoy the new ride!
  11. Sounds like they are just trying to up sell you in my opinion. Any reasons given? I believe on Bilsteins site it says not for Max Tow.
  12. Nice work, sounds great! Was planning the same thing but with a borla muffler. Im going to try this GM Borla and if itsnt agressive enough I may still switch it up.
  13. If you have a jack and basic sockets and a lil mechanical knowledge it's real easy. With alignment and parts I was only out 75 bucks. If you don't have the tools, great time to start take that hundreds saved and buy you a jack and socket set.
  14. So was messing around on search tempest to look for stuff for the truck in the Midwest. Ran across a GM Borla catback for 400 bucks. Picked it up tonight and looks new in box. I need to order tips for it still but cant believe the deal.
  15. Unless it's a big difference Id try to support vendors. Remember who answers questions and helps us all learn about these trucks.
  16. Since it would be relevant to this thread, how much would the 5100 series shock set be for 2014 Silverado LTZ 5.3?
  17. I was always curious about your status as a vendor. Good to hear!
  18. Id buy the 5100 and just pull the spacer. I put a spacer in right now while waiting to see how the 6112's pan out. Either way spacer will come out and bilstein 5100 or new 6112 will go in.
  19. I kept putting it off, but was cleaning my truck this weekend and was tired of stuff being all over the floor. Amazon seems to have the best price think it was 149. At first I was worried it only had the one strap, but once tightened and had stuff in it doesnt move around. Only complaint I saw regularly online was that the dividers were flimsy. They are a dense foam that slides in. I think they are more than sufficient and nice thing is you could trim them to hold something long if needed.
  20. Added the Husky under seat storage and works fine with the full rear mat. Looks factory and keeps everything from shifting around under there.
  21. Added the Husky under seat storage and works fine with the full rear mat. Looks factory and keeps everything from shifting around under there.
  22. Running Ko2s before right why the change?
  23. Removing rear block is an option as well. Think I saw a 4wd guy do that somewhere on here.
  24. No torsion bars on these trucks. Cheapest option and what your probably looking for any front spacer kit, try Motofab, Rough Country etc. They are all pretty similar. Either a top or bottom spacer, some are a combination of both once you go above 2.5ish inches. Next option is Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks. Most expensive is Fox, King coilovers etc. No mechanical difference for leveling, wheels etc 14 to 15 that I know of. Id just copy what you see there. As for tires those are MT(Mud Terrains) if you want less aggressive go to an AT(All Terrain). Most popular are BFG KO2, Toyo Open Country AT2 , and Nitto Terra Grappler.
