  1. If it doesn't totally collapse it should be okay. I had ovaling of the hose, noises and smell though which was enough for me to change. Replaced with good line from AutoZone and no ovaling of the line, no smell, and no noise.
  2. Haha no you dont, I definitely didnt take the axle out. The instructions that come with the motofab kit tell you how to install it. The bolt head is shorter than the nut so it makes sense that nut goes on bottom to maximize clearance. If the nut backs off the bolt is just gonna drop out as well.
  3. This isnt right, it should be nut on bottom.
  4. Leave it unless you are doing the bumper too
  5. Think MRT had all 4 Fox 2.0 for 900 and some. 6112s will probably be in that neighborhood.
  6. I dont know how you can beat TSP headers for the money. My GM Borla is perfect for now, but when warranty is up gonna be real hard to not be putting those in the next day with a tune. http://www.texas-speed.com/c-3288-headers-xy-pipes.aspx Shorties seem like a waste of money to me unless you have a really tight space like on a swap car, or real low clearance on a slammed car.
  7. Man that looks great, I have the all black Method NVs sitting in my garage with some 5100s ready to go on mine. Just waiting on some warmer weather to tackle the job. Im between the Open Country and K02s for tires though. How you like the Open Country's?
  8. Used but only for one summer, with centers and lugs too.
  9. Id try going through where you got your tires, mine was willing to price match. Discount was going to order them for me but I ran across a killer deal on craigslist. 500 4 method NVs with TPMS.
  10. I dont think you can wrong with any of those 3 brands all top notch. When warranty is up Ill be doing Texas Speed Headers though just because of how much cheaper and doing work myself. For tune, Id just tell him what you want. I always want as much performance as I can get safely, and being NA I dont think you can hurt much if he knows what he is doing. Id lose the v4 all together or above a certain speed like 60.
  11. +1 I did mine a year ago and still looks as good as the day I did it. Think I did 3 coats of black and 1 or 2 of glossifier.
  12. Good plan if they come out soon, if not nothing lost. I finally just bought 5100s, got tired of waiting. I ran across posts in 2014 of guys saying if you can hold out the 6112s will be out soon.
  13. They have a set that are the right part numbers on the site and I did buy them. I have the right fronts but just no communication about where my rears are.
  14. So ordered the 5100s end of November from MRT, had the best price. I got the fronts on 12/15, but no rears. I emailed and got a quick response that rears had to ship separate direct from bilstein. Should be a couple days behind and they'd check for me. Well it's 12-24 and no rears, no shipping info and after several emails, calls or texts never answered still no rear shocks... I really try to support forum vendors but this makes it hard..
  15. Can you talk them into coming up with something like this for the 14-15? My wallet is waiting.
  16. I completely forgot about this thread and posting a video. A little update, I did get the GM Borla on and that exhaust is perfect, has a nice burble outside at idle. Sounds good cruising when you get into throttle. Most the time though you just barely notice it inside which is perfect to me. The tips look great too and zero helicopter noise or drone. Ill try to get pics and a vid up sometime, but with it cold cleaning truck is fewer and farther between. I picked up some 17x8.5 Method NV's in black on craigslist for a good deal. After the first of the year Ill look at getting some new tires and getting them on the truck. Thinking Toyo AT2's or BFGoodrich K02s in a 285/70/17. I also ordered some Bilstein 5100's Ill need to get put on to replace the 2 inch spacers but that might wait till the new year as well. My garage is tied up trying to make 1 good Camaro out of a 01 B4C A4 roller and a wrecked 00 M6 Z28 my buddy picked up for a steal.
  17. They already have the cheapest price I could find after shipping and tax. Amazon and 4 wheel parts were close but shipping or tax or both made them more expensive in the end.
  18. That would be a full tear apart, gotta compress the spring and move that lower adjustable perch for the spring. Might be more effective to do the helper spring or bags like was already suggested unless you do it yourself.
  19. I am going to guess that picture is for a toyota or some other platform, but shows the larger bore and how much beefier 6112 is compared to a 5100. Until I hear from some members with the 6112 Ill just keep struggle busing with a 2inch level on stock shocks that rides like crap..
  20. Ive got a wear spot in the paint on that step down in that area and I think its from the seal. These look rough, worried about them eating at the door seal?
  21. What would you consider an issue with this? Im leveled and have thrown it into a corner harder than some would and havent had any issues, but if it broke traction enough I would expect it to step in. You can turn it off if you want.
  22. Looks really good! Those are standards right? Thinking about those polished for mine in 17 with 33's. Whats the lift and wheel/tire specs? What did you do to fit them?
