    My wife plugged in the crockpot,but she put it on high,it did not work. I can't remember if it works on low or not. I do know it worked on keep warm.

    Yeah,I don't understand it. Some people have had it covered under the power train warranty and some say they would not cover it. My 15 sierra had this problem also.

    One thing I noticed is some channels sound real clear and some sound more muffled or mono sounding. Anyone else notice that?

    How is that possible with out a catch can? If you listen to some on here you're truck won't make it past 40 or 50 thousand with out one...lol

    Did your entire seat quit working? I have heated seats and I can't really tell if the bottom part is working? I know the back is,I'm going to have dealer check it Thursday.

    This was a feature that I did not care about but my Sierra just happen to come with. And I will say I really like it now. I can hit the button way down my street and it opens. Works great!

    Mine is a 15,do they have a new design now or are they going to put same system on it?

    Mine is doing that squeak sound when it goes from v8 to v4 mode. I'm taking my truck back to dealer next week to have CD player fixed. My question is...is it worth me having dealer look at that to?

    I'm sure GM has spent millions of dollars testing these motors. And why would they keep making them if they have so many problems? I'm sure some have problems but most don't.

    My friend at work has a 2014 silverado LTZ crew 5.3. It has 72,000 on it other then oil changes and a couple recalls no issues. He don't do any maintenance and drives the piss out of it. I would say these new 5.3's are pretty good. And btw...no range or tune,completely stock.

    I don't think they all are bad. My friend I work with has an 2007 silverado with a 5.3 and AFM. He has 137,000 on it and done nothing but oil changes since he has had it. I think there is a lot less problems than more.

    My friends 14 has 70,000 on it now. Motor has never had anything but oil changes and it run perfectly fine. I would not be to worried about it at such low miles.

    I have a 15 Sierra that had coolant smell. Had radiator replaced a month or two ago. Never saw and cracks or leaks. Dealer said it was leaking. Mine was due to thermostat.

    I really like my 15 Sierra,but wish I would have looked in to all these problems before I sold my 06.

    I had mine done about a month ago. New radiator thermostat and housing. Dealer had no clue about service bulletin. They called me and said they found bulletin and did what I told them. (Thanks to this site)

    Man I must have got lucky I'm on a year and a half on my oem blades. Still working good.

    I think only internal parts are Covered. On the 100,000 mile warranty.

    Wouldn't that be covered by the 5 year 100,000 mile power train warranty?

    So if gas NEVER touches the valves there is no reason to use top their fuel right? Why would would the Manuel strongly recommend using it?
