  1. If it was me I would stay away from any LED that has a fan. I like these. Best warranty, nice price and no fan. I have been debating getting these LEsS for all my truck lights. High , low and fog. Through emails with this company they say they design the LEDs for each application. https://www.headlightexperts.com/carfinder/?find=2015-chevrolet-silverado-535429 Now I'm leaning toward and LED light bar. Great light output, less money.
  2. IMO If you would have done damage it would ahve showed up by now. Change the drivel line fluids.
  3. I like having a CD player. Bought a new Honda. No CD player. Friends bought a new KIA. No CD player. My 2012 Sierra, no CD player. Use a flash drive in Honda and my truck.
  4. Transmitted music audio FM or XM I believe the lower end of the audio spectrum is cut of at like 50 or 60 hertz. So if the original recording of the song has bass below that frequency it's not there. So good bass response isn't available. One reason all my music is on a flash drive. I use Windows Media Player in the highest format to get as much data or bits for better quality. One reason I would not touch MP3 audio. Low bit rate = poor quality. The advantage to MP3 is the song file size is small so you can put more songs on a small storage device. Vinyl records are making a come back due to the quality of the audio signal. Digital audio tends to be tinny sounding. Look around this site. $150 K for 2 speakers. https://www.audiogon.com/
  5. OK OK I will jump in again. The so called experts and all the other wind bags you see and here from are just giving an opinion right? They are all guessing. Can we agree that no one knows how this will play out. So to me it's all talk, just like talk radio-------TALK! I have friends and family that I trust. The rest of the world is full of B.S. I live rural and I'm somewhat of a home body. My biggest complaint is I can't go play poker in a casino and I can't have our weekly dinner with our friends. No biggie. I'll go tinker in the garage now that it has warmed up or ?????
  6. I drive it like I stole it and use my brakes hard. Heat dissipation maybe a better choice. :)
  7. Went to Walmart yesterday. I waited inside by one of doors for 30 mins. while the wife shopped. Surprised at the number of people without masks. There was a Walmart employee inside by the door counting the people with and without masks as they entered.
  8. To each their own. I have never used a OEM oil filter in over 50 years of maintaining vehicles. Over priced IMO. :)
  9. No way. You're more of a trusting guy than me.
  10. On a lighter side. This is a big ass balloon!
  11. The answer is here.
  12. Still going.
  13. Graduated form high school in Warren Mi.

Have a relative that lives there.

  14. IMO Some have problems, some don't. Luck of the draw. The quality of the oil used and the miles between oil changes is a factor. Using Amsoil puts you ahead of the majority of the pack. The Range is a personal choice. If you want the best mileage, don't use it. If you want to stop V4 mode and maybe save lifters, use it.
  15. If you read the owners manual I bet it says no oil additives are necessary. From my 2012 owners manual. Engine Oil Additives/Engine Oil Flushes Do not add anything to the oil. The recommended oils with the dexos specification and displaying the dexos certification mark are all that is needed for good performance and engine protection. Engine oil system flushes are not recommended and could cause engine damage not covered by the vehicle warranty.
  16. Yes Sir! Working on a friends 20 + years old Jeep and needed a bolt. Found one in my stash. Doing a kitchen remodel now. Tiled back splash. Needed longer screws for switches and plugs. Needed 18 screws. Found a box full. Score!
  17. Donstar, I'm in the same boat as to my tools and garage. Hard to let go of things because you never know what life will throw at you. I have a big collection of tools after retiring from construction. Lots of mechanic tools from years of fixing things. A collection of nuts, bolts, electrical, plumbing, etc.
  18. :)
  19. I think he should have been refused service unless he complied. Or the group of people should have stood up to him. Letting him do this is wrong.
  20. Out of curiosity I watch a program on Frontline last night. I like Frontline and there were no commercials, PBS. I found it interesting. Link to program https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/frontlines-first-major-documentary-on-covid-19-premieres-tonight/ And here https://triblive.com/opinion/david-zurawik-frontline-traces-start-of-covid-19-crisis-in-america-telling-a-tale-of-two-washingtons/
  21. Governor starts relaxing stay at home here in Colorado. 10,106 Cases* 1,880 Hospitalized 56 Counties 47,466 People tested** 113 Outbreaks 449 Deaths Last update: April 20, 2020 | 4 p.m. Note: This summary only includes data through 4/19 and does not reflect cases since then.
  22. I wouldn't be a happy camper either. But the reality is they will fix it. Depending on what is wrong it's your decision where to go from there. Don't expect a new truck. I highly doubt there is any engine damage.
  23. This is not an attack on anyone. Why spend the time and energy put forth on this forum? The media, doctors and the gov are not experts by any means. Simple to me. Stay home. When you do go out be overly cautious. Be smart. Time gone by is the key IMO. Same with the market loses. Time. Simple. If I watch the news(1-2 times a week) I watch the first 15 mins of the world news. The most important info IMO in this time span. I watch Nora O'Donnell because she is pleasing to the eyes. We have been doing what they preach during flu season for years. Nothing new. This panic will cost our children for years to come the way they are throwing money at it. Is there a right answer? Maybe not. To many opinions and experts. I just realized I've spent to much time on this post.
