  1. Thinking of getting some ramps for oil changes. Mostly for our Honda CR-V. Would like to use for truck if I wanted to. Have looked at a lot of different manufacturers. Good and bad reviews. What do you have?
  2. Google it. I did. Videos available. May help.
  3. I would buy the lowest mileage truck I could find. Bought my 2012 with 41 k miles in 2015. No regrets.
  4. Is that a good price for a truck with almost 80 K miles? I wouldn't pay that.
  5. I looked at Rock Auto and Oriellys. Both list M12x1.75 GM https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-engine-oil-drain-plug-11562588
  6. Wouldn't trying a new sensor be the cheapest? Even if you bought an AC Delco?
  7. What? Really? Chock wheels. Put the jack under the frame of the truck. For the front where the frame is right behind the front wheel. For the rear, in-front of the rear wheel. Jack it up. Put jack stand under frame next to jack. Lower jack. Go to other side and repeat. Or have two floor jacks. Maybe I don't understand the question. I have had my truck off the ground on 4 jack stands so I could remove all the tires to do all the brakes at once.
  8. Correct if I'm wrong. Auto stop doesn't work at stop signs or in stop and go traffic also.?
  9. I wouldn't expect a recall. This issue is not life threatening. You could say it is by losing control of the truck due oil spillage. Recalls are based on safety i believe. My trucks would not be DOA fro 5 months. I would have been looking at options after 30 days at the most. Maybe sooner.
  10. I know 2 people who bought Toyota's. 1 new 2019. 1 used low mile 2018. The 2018 was traded in due to the ride. The 19 owner bought for reliability. Neither impressed me. I just won't own a foreign truck.
  11. I have a Stihl chain saw. Bought used. A Kawasaki leaf blower. Bought new. Both 50-1 mix. I use Stihl 2 cycle oil and 87 octane gas that can have 10% alcohol. Stihl 2 cycle oil used to have stabilizer in it. Not any more. Use 2-3 gallons a year. Mostly in leaf blower. Leaf blower is 10 years old. Never had a problem with either one. Occasional use of Sea Foam. Used at elevations from 5200 - 9500 feet.
  12. It will tow it no problem. Towing in the mountains is a whole new ball game. It will tow it but the grades will mean using lower gears to keep it in the power band. This means slower speeds. No hurry, no problem.
  13. My 2012 lives from 6 K - 9500 feet. Doesn't bother me. Most noticeable when towing. Would I buy another truck? Hell No! I'm not in a hurry.
  14. WOW Thanks Grumpy. Simple. Works.
  15. Does it do a good job? Easily manageable?
  16. I came here to learn and kill time. Being I don't do mods and my truck is getting older, not a lot of posts about, for my year. I do ignore threads that are poorly written or lack proper English composition. This seems to be growing.
  17. Facebook. No way.
  18. I belong to 6 online forums. Some have less traffic. The one constant in life, things change.
