I did see notice that when I ordered but on my silverado the straight type bulb fit just fine under the cap. If you are going to go with Kensun, you have to use their resistor style relay harness with no capacitors. I couldn't get them to work otherwise. I am all for being frugal and saving cost but IMO, buy the Morimoto kit and save yourself the headache. YMMV.

I do not know anyone personally that has it, no. I have watched their videos as well and that is what I was going off. For me, the $500 I saved by having a custom exhaust done vs buying a Corsa/SSW system was used for other mods.

One thing I have noticed about the K2 trucks is, they are 'quiet' no matter what the exhaust system is. IMO, the only 'loud' setup I have liked so far is the Stainless Works. It sounded like but not obnoxious straight piped, popping, crackling loud.

Well like others, I had condensation the first week I bought my truck in 12/15. The condensation would come and go randomly but for the most part, would be very limited. After I installed my HID kit, it was building up quite a bit. I am planning on trying to get my lights warrantied through the dealer we use at my work but I am hoping I don't have to return everything to stock before taking it in. The service advisor noted that there is a bulletin out about this issue and that she would show the pictures to the service manager to see what they can do about it. Ideally, I would like to be able to take my headlights in and just do it myself so I can do my FXR kit while it is out. We will see what she comes up with and tells me tomorrow.

$500 for labor, muffler and tips. I just paid cash so he did not give me a receipt. One shop quoted me $450 for the same work and another quoted me $700. This guy as done all my previous trucks and does amazing work so I decided to stick with him for the extra $50. The muffler runs about $100-$130 depending on where you get it.

Well thanks to my great phone, it showed that as the last response. Once I posted it, it took me to the last page of the thread and showed were it had been covered haha. Along with this, are you talking about the two wires under the FXR? Did you just connect those to your high beam socket? That is rather interesting. Well my FXR kit came in last friday and I finally have some time to install it tonight after work. After my first HID install on the highs/lows, I keep getting moisture in them. It seems to start at the bottom of the assembly where the highs are and work its way up. I am hoping it is either because the dust seals are not on correctly (would be strange it both were misaligned) or I can add some silicone to the grommets for the bulbs. It is really starting to get annoying. It didn't help that I saw someone walk by truck and say "Wow! That is a good looking truck" and then they pointed out the headlights and said "ohhhh that sucks.."

FWIW, I asked my exhaust guy about duals vs single. He said the Aero AT3030 would sound the same and it might be little louder if you did a single side dump.

That is incorrect. Sikverados use a compelty different bulb for the high beam so you don't lose your high beam function. The shutter is found on the Sierras, not Silverados.

They are still showing up for me on a quick youtube search of "Silverado AT3030." I have been meaning to ask you Matt, did you notice a huge difference in noise between the 3030, Corsa and a straight pipe? From your videos, which I know don't really do it justice, they sound pretty similar. What are your thoughts?

TB spacers are known to cause a pretty loud whistle from my experience. Have you tried the soap and water trick? Just mix up a spray bottle of dish soap and water and spray around everything to find any leaks. Obviously doing this on a cold system would be the best.

Hey Jeff, just saw your comment on YouTube and so far I am loving it. It has a nice start up tone (especially when cold) and idle is lopey but not obnoxious. If you look at my build thread you can see how he set it up. He suggested I remove everything except the third cat. If the flapper was left in, I'm sure the chopper noise would be eliminated but I'm glad I took it all off. If you are watching the DIC and see it switch to V4, you will notice. Otherwise, normal driving you would probably not even hear it. I've definitely got some miles on it now and so far so good. The sound has increased over time in a good way. I have used Aero mufflers on previous trucks and I really don't think you can beat them for the price. I live in a complex and I didn't want it to be ridiculous loud but sometimes I wish it was a tad louder. My '05 1500 had an Aero that was side dumped, so if you are looking for a little more noise, I would do that. To me, they are the perfect muffler. I searched for weeks and listened to every and I mean literally EVERY, exhaust video I could find before I decided to stick with Aero again. I think Corsa would have been my next choice but I wasn't going to spend $900+ and then have to install it myself. Honestly, these trucks aren't very loud even with a straight pipe and I didn't want any cackling or backfire. My 51yo dad thinks the exhaust is a tad loud and said he would probably do the 3030XL (resonated version) on his '15 GMC 1500 but he is old haha. These two videos (yes I know it's a Ford) sound identical to my truck. A V8 is a V8, both have 8 cylinders so they sound really really similar especially since they are being fed to the same muffler. Another member here has done us all a great big favor by testing multiple mufflers on his truck. I used his videos as well to make my decision. All in all, if you are looking for some good 'clean' noise, not overly obnoxious loud, cost effective, clean looking (loved the bright finish); Aero will be up your ally.

Got mine mounted up last weekend along with my HID's. I went with a 32" Ni-Light from Amazon. It looks great and so far has survived two pressure washes!

You shouldn't be cutting anything to install HIDS. This is what my Silverado lights look like after the 1" hole through the dust cover. Your factory plug should stay inside the headlight and your HID bulb goes inside and the wires come out like this.

So I have been reading this thread and I can't seem to find a definite answer. Can Bilsteins be ran on RC 2.5'' level front and rear? If so, what model of bilsten and what level are they set at? I have an RC 2.5 level and it rides a little rough so I am hoping to smooth it out some. I need ever inch I can get as I am running 33x12.5 on -24 wheels.

That I can't help you with but if you search through this entire thread, you will find your answer. The search tool really is helpful when you use it. That kit seems a bit high priced and it still probably a china made kit. I ordered mine from amazon for almost half the price of that.
