  1. Pressing the red dial is the manual override. I haven’t had a chance yet to try out the controller. I had originally planned on the Hopkins Insight but I liked the Reese better since I couldn’t find a way to make the Hopkins not look like an afterthought. The pics above look like the best option for mounting the display and manual override.
  2. Yesterday, I installed a Reese Compact IQ controller in my truck. The controller is mounted behind the dash near the parking brake pedal and I mounted the adjuster dial and indicator LED in a panel over the pocket above the 4wd selector dial.
  3. Hauled home my new 2007 Kubota BX24 tractor today.
  4. Looks good. Three inches of rake on a regular cab looks way worse than on a longer wheelbase.
  5. Thanks! They are DeeZee NXT boards. I like them a lot. They are aluminum so rust won't be an issue and they don't flex a bit with my 170lbs on them. They are worth every penny just to protect the paint from rock chips. I added some flaps at the front to protect the the doors and some filler pieces along the back side to fill the gap between the boards and rocker panels.
  6. Oh look....a knee magnet! Lol
  7. I waxed the truck over the weekend and I found no chips in the doors or rockers so I'd say the boards and flaps are working great because the tires pick up some big rocks.
  8. I went with the DeeZee NXT boards. They are powdercoated aluminum so rust is not an issue. I had heard too many complaints about the RB10 boards pealing and rusting.
  9. Waxed the Silverado and snapped a pic with the wife's Colorado since they were both clean.
  10. Cool old GMC. Not sure why they did the weathered paint look and then sprayed it with a gloss clear.
  11. 285/65/18 Mastercraft Courser CXT, 2" level
  12. Nice wheels. The sidewall of my tires stick out 1/4" past the top of the front fenders. The 275s and 285s both measure 11.5" on these wheels. The tread is just a little wider on the 285s.
  13. Not a bit. They come close to the fender liners at the firewall but they can be zip tied back.
  14. 2016 Z71 2" level, 18x9 +12 offset, 275/65/18 Same setup with 285/65/18
  15. First hand washing of the year.
  16. Looks good Chris!
  17. I started a thread when I built it. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/190326-2016-silverado-bumper-filler/ Here's a sketch.
  18. The SDHQ skid plate looks like a nice piece. I built this piece for mine and added the GM aluminum skid plates to replace the plastic splash shield.
