  1. I have a 25 Denali 6.2. When I go to pass another vehicle and jump on the gas it goes like a bat out of hell. When I back off the throttle it seems to want to keep the RPMs up for a bit. Does this sound like a normal occurance for these truvks.
  2. I hate to be way off topic here but is anyone else unable to sign into the forum using Google Chrome. I keep getting this error message. Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Additionally, a 400 Bad Request error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Gladly I'm able to log in under Microsoft Edge as a second resort but Chrome is my default and preference browser.
  3. I retired from the Tonanwanda Engine plant. I worked in the crankshaft dept. The quality checks we made were held to very strict tolerences. I think the cranks produced at Tonawanda will be great. I'll have living proof just picked up a 25 Sierra 1500 Denali 6.2 Tuesday. Runs great.
  4. Traded my 23 Denali 5.3 for the 25 Denali 6.2.
  5. Bikerjon. you are absolutely right I test drove a 25 Denali 6.2 yesterday. Was so impressed I'm picking it up in about an hour. I guess the old guy in me told get the Denali and not the AT4. I like comfort and don't need the offroad capablities
  6. My only concern is my driving is mostly short city drives. I'm sure longer highway drives would be better for the LZO. The fuel cost in my area, Diesel and premium are pretty close in price. Def just adds more cost to the LZO. My 23 Denali 5.3 is a great vehicle. I should just keep it but I get bored very easily with my vehicles. I have an oil change due in a couple weeks with too many decisions to make with these engines. This wouldn't be the first time I left for an oil change only to go back to the dealer with my title and a check, then drove home later with a new truck, Decisions decisions.
  7. Pretty sad GM can't get their act together. I might just bite the bullet give up a couple more MPG and get a 2500 AT4 with a 6.6 gasser
  8. I'm sitting on the fence looking at 25 AT4 but can't decide on the 6.2 or the babymax. I hear a lot of emission issues with the 3.0. Not liking the reputation of the 6.2's over the past couple years. I have a 23 Denali 5.3 right now, I'd rather get an AT4 this time but no 5.3 offered.
  9. I hope they roll it out to the 23's That dismal BOSE system is a real dissapointment.
  10. Get the same thing with my23 Denali 5.3 10 spd. Drive mine in in sport mode, gets the rpms up when it shifts Does your 2.7 I don't notice it. Drive in L9 shifts smooth as silk. Does your 2.7 have DFM? Mine does and I was thinking its the culprit.
  11. Its very weak. The bass on my 20 SLT with Bose system completely blows away the Bose system in my 23 Denali
  12. My 23 Denali 5.3 has the same shudder around the same speed. I'm thinking it has more to do with the DFM than the transmission. Try running it in L9 from the start. Drive it the same as you would in drive. No cylinder deactivation and no shudder. These trucks shouldn't deactivate cylinders at that low of a speed.
  13. It came standard on my 23 Denali signed into it but haven't used it yet.
  14. Second winter on my 23 Denali not problems. Snowy and salty in WNY
  15. My 23 Denali has been hit and miss with my Pixel 7 pro. I got used to cursing at it and adjust it couple times then it seems to locks in.
  16. Agree 100% I have a 23 Denali with 22's and ARC. Nothing to brag about, and the Bridgestone Alenza tires are nothing to write home about. I dread the snow coming in a couple days. I can see a set of Michelins on the horizon.
  17. Probably the next move on my 23 Denali. Didn't have that much snow here last year in WNY so tire weren't much of an issue. Waiting to see if we get any appreciable snow this year and see how the Bridgestones work out. I'm not holding my breath for anything remarkable as these tire even suck in the rain.
  18. My 23 Denali 5.3 10spd doing the same ****** in drive. Acts up right before cylinder deactivation at low rpm and around 30- 35mph. If I start in L9 it seems to shift smooth as silk.
  19. I have to agree with you. M 23 5.3 Denali at low speeds under like 35 feels like a slight transmission shudder when cylinders deactivate. If I just put it L. at that speed its usually L6. Starting in L6 transmission shifts smooth as silk. Looks like a 3.0L Duramax is in my near future.
  20. I'm pretty disappointed at the Bose system in my 23 Denali. No real pronounced rich bass. The 2020 SLT I traded for the Denali and the 2020 Terrain both with Bose systems blow the 23 Denali out of the water when it comes to bass. Something changed with the Bose system and the refresh in the 22's.
  21. I'm thinking of trading my 23 1500 Denali for a 2500 AT4 6.6 gasser. Is there any problem getting one of these in a garage with a standard 7ft garage door. I checked the specs out for the AT4 and its giving a range of 80"-83" overall height.
  22. Mostly only at low speed but Saturday I was on the highway with cruise set to 60 I believe the it was around 1200 RPM I definitely could feel it was only running on 4 cylinders. Just touched the gas pedal and it went back to 8 cylinders.
