    The latest software update I downloaded last week solved the issues with the charging problem. Works as it should with the Pixel 7 Pro with case. I can place it anywhere on the pad as long as the top of the phone goes down.

    I updated Wednesday morning. Everything seemed to go well. I see people talking about the Intellibeams , I tested mine tonight and it seems to stay active after a restart. The best part of the update is it fixed my finicky wireless phone charger. I've had this truck for 2 weeks and that damn charger was driving me nuts . Constantly cutting out. There was one sweet spot where it would work. After the update as long as the top of the phone is down it charges no matter where it sits in the charger. This is with the case on the Pixel 7 pro.

    A little over a week old. Getting used to the new dash. Finally got the wireless charging working pretty consistent All in all much nicer than my 2020.

    Figured I'd taker a picture this morning after the car wash before it's covered in road salt again. My first Black vehicle I see its starting out as a love, hate relationship. Especially this time of year.

    This really stinks because in my 2020 SLT I'd just put the same phone with the case in anyway I wanted . Face up Face down, pointing in any direction. I guess a refresh doesn't always mean an upgrade.

    The Pixel 7 Pro most definitely supports wireless charging,. I do it at home and it charged flawlessly in my 2020 SLT.

    I picked up my 23 Denali yesterday. I put my Pixel 7 pro in the charging pocket. The display showed the green lightning bolt. The phone also showed the charging indicator. After about a minute the green charging indicator changed into an orange triangle with an exclamation point in the center. I thought it was because of the case so I removed it and had the same problem with the bare phone. Its sort of aggravating as the 2020 SLT I traded charged the same phone with the case on face up, face down. Anyone else experience this problem? Hopefully its a bad charger and the dealer can rectify the problem.

    I just came back from the dealer. I was supposed to pick it up Thursday but the wanted to work on a few blemishes and fine scratches they found during prep. I almost cancelled the order because of it. They assured me they would make it right and sweetened the trade in by an extra $500. Glad I gave them a chance, they did a great job flawless Black paint.

    Monday if all things go right I'm heading to the GMC dealer and have my 2020 SLT 5.3 appraised for trade in. Looking to trade it for another loaded SLT in Volcanic Red Metallic but this time the 3.0l diesel. Looks like its going to be a factory order. Any thoughts on the diesel choice and if anyone has factory ordered recently how long did it take to get your truck. The crappy part is there is a dealer not far from me that has almost exactly what I'll be ordering unfortunately it's Pacific Blue same as I'm trading in. I need a change.

    I have noticed this a few times last winter. This happened the other day when making a U-turn on a country road. I hit the gas on the loose gravel and the rear end locked as it should but when it straightened out the rear end didn't unlock for a while and made on hell of a chattering sound and vibration. Only 15,000 miles on the truck If I it read it right rear differential service is due at 36,000 miles. I had this happen on one of my previous trucks with the G-80 They said they added a synthetic additive and it quit. From What I have read Synthetic lube is already in the rear end.

    I'm contemplating buying a travel trailer next spring. Around a 24-26 ft. and trying to keep the trailer GVWR under 8500lbs.. This would be pretty close to the limits of my 5.3, X31, SLT. I know the 6.2 will give me the punch i need, but the will the NHT package give me the extra towing capacity needed. I looked at the 2500's but just don't want a truck that size. . A factory order would probably be the only way to go. I want an SLT equipped like my 2020. Only adding the 6.2 and dumping the X31 for the NHT.. Is the NHT worth the extra money to give me the extra capacity.?

    Sounds like a Biden move. Support a potential threat to the US instead of opening leases and put American back to work and get us less dependent on foreign oil.

    Well I spotted this post yesterday when we were getting hammered by a Noreaster. 20+ ". of the white stuff. Spent the day behind the snow blower out a couple times and the truck sat in the garage. Today the snow blowing was done and I decided to go to the park and do a little snowshoeing. Oh boy this old guy just proved to himself your not in as good a shape as you think you are. Anyway I decided to snap a picture before I loaded up the truck and headed for home.

    The 2022 line up is nice. I especially like the new look of the High Country. Now we have seen the video do you thing they will hit the dealers before 2024.

    I used some of mine to buy a tray that actually makes the consul useful. It's a shame a $61,000 truck doesn't come with a simple tray to organize it.

    Since I have own my truck I recall a couple instances where I started the truck up put in drive and the parking brake was set. Yesterday I headed out Started it up put it in gear and the parking brake was set . After bowling yesterday same thing only this time it was followed by a check engine light. Took it to the dealer this morning. They read the codes, it was a Brake Controller issue. Looks like they reprogrammed the Brake Control Module per bulletin 2886978.

    If you want the 2 speed transfer case opt for the Z71or the X31 option package.
