  1. I had the old Votec v-6 in my '83 short bed, 4 speed. Never had to little power, but often didn't have enough power, got crappy gas milage. I didn't like having a v-6 in my truck, just me.
  2. No replacement for that near 1000 lb/ft of torque, though. That's a big trailer, a nice big trailer, a 3500 would handle that weight better, I would imagine.
  3. If I remember correctly, I put them in about 10-15 K miles ago, have AC Delco replacements in the garage for replacements as you guys on here have suggested, but so far so good....
  4. And we all love pictures... so
  5. Some months ago I put in some E3 plugs, no problems, no real difference. A few months ago that put on a K&N intake, no problems, sounds good, not loud like an exhaust. I’ve been noticing that my truck pulls great with the 1000 pound ATV in the bed. Better then it used to. No giant claims, just noticing some better power while driving, same fuel mileage.
  6. How the heck do these things even get started? Nowhere, ever, has it been said the AT4HD has a higher ride hight. Same shocks, springs, suspension.
  7. Bummer you had to trade to feel comfortable in your truck. Hope the new one does what you want it to.
  8. As stated above, shop around, I bought my '17 on the last day in November, got a $54K truck for $42 and change. This year is different in so many ways, though.
  9. For me, the WT just didn't have the creature comforts that I like. Steering wheel radio adjustments, xm radio, softer, quieter interior. Just me.....
  10. That much negative offset will have your tires throwing all kinds of road debris onto the side of your truck.....
  11. So you post some random pic of your truck you don't like, and ask us whats wrong.... The poster of the picture. That's whats wrong. Go away with you shitty attitude, far away.
  12. Put this together a few months ago, without even thinking about weight watching for real, this AR10 came out nice, loud as hell with the short barrel and tiny muzzle brake. It shoots better then me, but I get 2 inch groups at 100 yards.
  13. It seems like the logical thing to to, after all they did change the rear gear for something, obviously not for milage, because it's the same. Oh wait...... GM, no logic involved.
  14. When I built my little 12 x 20 shed about 10 months ago, even then it was crazy expensive for PT lumber, a least twice as much as I was expecting. AND no tenderloin??!! Haven't been into the one down the street in months....
  15. In todays market, building your own makes sense, all gun stuff prices have spiked, ammo almost gone right now.
  16. 6 speed and the old 4:10 gears would have been nice. 3:73's and the 10 speed makes scene.
  17. Uh oh, never should have poked my head in here.... Started to get into building my own, with the help from the computer, always wanted to build from past decades ago, but it was massively difficult to find everything and get it shipped. Now a days, piece of cake, have built several. Her's a couple, all Aero Precision uppers and lowers, long range .308, 24" barrel, little .223 build, the G I Joe gun....
  18. Wait a year, I've been to the range way less now, can't get replacements at any kind of good price. Crazy people that have never shot a gun in their lives, go out and buy guns and ammo, to do nothing with, WTF.
  19. So, I just went onto the Chevy build and price page, and there are some new nice stuff. Some different wheels, a couple of packages, but nothing int the way of new trim upgrades.
  20. Never another tire that has "M" in the title. Sick and tired of listening to tires, crabby old fart that i am.
  21. The '16 before the '17. Same bumper. Could have gotten used to it, but missed the creature comforts that the Sierra didn't have. Steering wheel radio adjustments, satellite radio, but I loved the 8 foot bed.
  22. Im still amazed this is the way we buy new trucks now, have to install our own ordered parts. What's next, we have to install our own oil to get it off the lot?
