    Sorry guys. Didnt mean dropping them as in discontinuing. My dropping meant popularity and production numbers. It would be curious to see sales numbers from about 2007-2018 on GM RCSB truck sales.

    My experience exactly with 4 wheel parts. You can also be sure they will be new undamaged or refurbished units unlike stories I have heard about some amazon purchases.

    I had a 1994 Silverado RCSB Z71 bought brand new. Back then they were everywhere. Times have changed....it is the age of Crew cabs. There just are not many K2 RCSB's out there. Not that i agree, but no wonder GM is dropping them. Sales and interest just are not there to justify future production.

    Your numbers are good Bob. It seems there is a big difference between mpg with a 3.42 gear vs 3.23 At this point i would rather have the 3.23

    Need to Check the Vacuum Pump for ticking noises. Often this is overlooked. A Ticking Vaccum Pump = Ticking Time Bomb!

    I currently own a GMC, but the 2019 GMC would not be in my Garage! Silverado looks so much better in the front, and tail lights. These GMC tail lights remind me of the 2005-2012 Colorado/Canyon style.

    4wheel parts have discount codes that bite into Amazon pricing. At least at the time I was shopping. I do not get paid by 4wheel parts for plugging them. Just giving my experience with the purchase to those in the market for 5100's

    I do not tow alot. The 3.42 shines most on the highway in hilly terrain here in Mo. Not as much downshifting.

    I had been using Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer for a while but not happy with how it sometimes lingered on my black paint. So I recently switched to Griot's Garage Speed Shine and am satisfied with the results. What do you guys prefer for Quik wipe and detail products? What works best on our Black trucks?
