  1. Maybe the fix is cheap....... it is the volume of repairs and dealer reimbursements that keeps them from chiming in.
  2. Water based clear coat? Sheesh..... is that durable?
  3. Anyone seen these? $999 for the front pair, $799 for rear pair. https://www.roughcountry.com/shocks-struts/shocks/vertex-shocks.html?vehicle_drive=3&vehicle_make=7
  4. Chuck, Have you seen the new threads for 2019 Troubleshooting, Mods, and Driveline/Exhaust? You could be the first one to post something in any one of those 3 subjects if anything happens to your T1 (good being modification, bad being a problem or bug).
  5. Sounds good but expensive since it is a dealer installed addition. I am sure the aftermarket will be all over this soon. A 33" tire is probably feasible with this 2" lift. Some rake would remain. There is what appears to be a rake if you look at the AT4 and Trail Boss from the factory. Since it not a "leveling" kit there is still more room up front to level, allowing clearance for a 33" tire. Thanks for the info Nick and newdude!
  6. As usual..... I should have waited four more years
  7. Going to the Bilstein US website and searching by Year/Make/Model yields nothing in the way of an available 6112 shock front or rear. https://cart.bilsteinus.com/
  8. This is something I have never heard before. I am anxious to try this on my '14
  9. The 6112 Run around continues. Give up on it. Why was this shock even introduced or mentioned? It has been Over 3 years. Funny thing is that the 6112 is available for the 2015-2018 Tahoe and Suburban but not the more popular 1500 Trucks.
  10. It is not the tire size that bugs me, but the Wheels. The ugly styling of the wheels. The 20" tire option on the Trail Boss needs a better 20" wheel design.
  11. Or you could opt for the uglier, makes no sense 20" aluminum wheel pictured here!
  12. Can you tell us how the gas pedal feels? Is there a throttle lag like on the K2's that require a shim behind the pedal?
  13. Speaking of using a crappy piece of plastic on a nice truck. The hood release lever on 2019 silverado/sierra is now made of plastic.
  14. The 6.2 is an option on the Sierra AT4
  15. Congrats! Are your Mirrors Power folding?
  16. My point exactly. ^^^^^^^^^ The Trail Boss is going to Top out around $58K with all options. Sierra's AT4 will be about 61k
  17. Sounds good. This seems like a reasonably affordable "fix" for the throttle lag if it works. Then I can throw my paint stick into the campfire LOL
  18. Went to cars.com and there are many 2019's listed on dealer lots, but not sure if they are actually on lots or in transit etc? 6 Chevy dealers around here and I have yet to see a 2019 1500 on the lot physically.
  19. Is the ticking lower in the engine oil pan or transmission area?
  20. I ran across this. Seems to be a K&N knockoff for nearly half the price. Anyone used this SPECTRE brand filter? They also make their own intake kit for the 2014-2018 Silverado/Sierra and you can get it for around $155.
