  1. Check out a potential Billy 6112 replacement:
  2. Bilsteins would be fine on your 2500. Hello KC Brother!
  3. Did you recently move into a new house? Maybe it is haunted? Have you tried unhooking battery to reset things?
  4. 6112's were nothing more than hype. Its funny how they are available for Yukon, Tahoe, and Suburban
  5. Phil (pgamboa) might have an answer. Other than that... A. Pray B. Trade for a Ram C. Trade for a Ford D. Im just teasing but good luck! E. NEVER DO B OR C !
  6. Blend door actuator would be my best guess.
  7. Directions say a few hours....
  8. The Ever Elusive Bilstein 6112 kit that was first mentioned back in 2015 was suppose to come with springs. However, that shock kit is still not available for the Silverado and Sierra. There is a part number but no vendor that carries them. The kit is currently available for 20115 and up Tahoe/Suburban.
  9. Great write up! I wonder how much different the new Eibach springs are over the OEM and why the OEM is not used in the kit as with Bilstein, other than price? The silver colored springs gives it a trick look.
  10. Did the bed height (reach in) gain by 7" ? I know that the interior width grew by 7"
  11. Wonderful explanation and write up once again Newdude! So it sounds like its more of a tool issue and not that the new T1's frames are junk or manufactured incorrectly.
  12. I guess the Silverado and Sierra can finally have the focus shifted away from the "chevy shake" or "shakearado" Now we will know them as "Bendarado" LOL
  13. Have not heard anything like that myself. Seems like it would reflect on the liability of the shop if a lift accident occurred. Dealerships and shops will have to conform their equipment to this new frame style. Much like Panama had to build a wider canal to accommodate todays wider, larger cargo vessels.
  14. Better acceleration, better tranny shifting, no black soot on or in tailpipe. And a moonshine smell whipe running all make up for the mpg loss!
  15. How many Octoberfests were downed during this process?
  16. Looking forward to reading Britt! Thanks.
  17. Can you report on the ride quality with the new Eibach's?
  18. Forget the custom spring compressor, i am interested in the Sam Adams Octoberfest ! Seriously, great idea and those are not bending like auto store rentals.
  19. You have kahunas waterfowler! I have heard and seen horror stories about auto parts rent a compressors.
  20. From what i understand, a piece of insulation was pinched between the wire and ground post causing probems. Fix is to remove panel, post nut....trim insulation back, retighten nut and issue solved.
  21. What did you use to compress the coil? What notch did you go with on the front shocks? Are they like the Bilstein 5100 adjustables?
