  1. 117k and counting. Seems most of my vehicles regardless of make get between a 100-130k out of them. Did have a Dodge go through the driver one in 80k miles but the passenger one went 200k miles. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  2. It was turned off at a 116k miles. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  3. Not gonna lie, that is pretty freaking sweet. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  4. Good. I know who not to give money to. Pitching your companies stuff is one thing. Acting like an arrogant jackass is another. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  5. And just who is it you are//work for? 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  6. I change my oil at 6000 miles using whatever the dealer puts in. No catch can for a 117k miles. Gets beat on almost daily. No oil in the intake. Guess I’m a lucky one? 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  7. All that air going in has to find a way out. Personally I like a good old fashioned cowl hood. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  8. Agreed on to each their own. I’ve towed trailers for years and have never felt the need to add tow mirrors. Anything from 6’ utility trailers to 3 horse goose necks and 25’ flat beds. Just don’t see the love for them. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  9. Speak for yourself. I despise tow mirrors. I haven’t seen my truck in almost two weeks. Been at the body shop having the roof repainted (factory was peeling) and having some other dents taken care of and some other touch ups done and then a complete buff job. Had a $1000 in credit left over from my car getting repaired and I’m using it to fix the truck up. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  10. That’s because Jeep’s crawl rocks so rock lights serve a purpose. Silverado’s don’t. Rock lights on street vehicles make you look like this: Don’t look like this. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  11. That’s all I need to work with my fruit phone. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  12. Difference between a canned tune and a custom tune is like the difference between a crescent wrench and a box end wrench. They both get the job done but one is better suited for the job. I’ve got a canned diablo tune on my silverado and it solved 75% of the transmission issues. I think a custom tune would take care of the rest but I’m gonna wait on that until I get headers. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  13. Exactly what I did with my charger. Paid a company $300 and they are doing the leg work. Still trying to settle but so far we are at $3550. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  14. Good grief. $5100 in brakes?!?!?!? That thing better lift the back tires off the ground when you stand on the brakes with a 10k pound trailer attached. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  15. 15.5-16.5 all day every day. Tune and delete the v4 stuff and it’s still the same. Leveled it’s still the same. I’d imagine once I go to bigger tires and wheels it’ll drop but who knows. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  16. Got mine from Amazon for $358 with prime shipping.
  17. I just pulled my rancho’s off at a 116k miles. They had plenty of rebound and compression in them and were similar to the bilstein’s I installed. With that said, the bilstein’s do ride different than the rancho’s. Not sure if I’d call it better but maybe just more settled and not so busy if that makes sense. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  18. Installed a rough country leveling kit, bilstein 5100s, spark plugs, and plug wires. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo Bilstein 5100 Rough Country Level
  19. I’ve run the 5100’s on all of my diesels and my 77 bronco. Nothing new to me. They really are a great shock. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo
  20. Got the factory rancho’s at 116k miles. Honestly I don’t think they ride bad at all. Feels like a 2500 to me which I enjoy. I hate soft suspensions. I’m replacing them this weekend with Bilstein’s because they are worn out and I’m leveling the truck. But in reality they aren’t bad. The stock rancho’s are like nickleback. The internet says you have to hate them but when asked why you never get a straight answer. I will concede and say that these aren’t as good as the Rancho’s of yore but then again neither are Bose speakers but people still buy them and enjoy them. It’s all a matter of preference. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo
  21. Washed and clay barred. Today is wax and full detail. Normally I’d do a machine polish but the paint is surprising swirl free even after a 115k miles so I’m not gonna worry about it this time. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo
  22. That’s a waste of money. It’s stock parts powder coated red. Best budget brake upgrades are pads and slotted rotors. Beyond that shit gets expensive quick. For the record, I’ve yet to see twin piston front calipers not stop a 3/4 ton 4wd diesel with 15k lbs with ease. Using 6 piston calipers on a half ton with a couple thousand extra pounds is overkill to the extreme degree. Upgrade pads, get slotted rotors, and bed them in properly. You’d be amazed at what that will do for stopping power. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo
  23. Ditto on the price. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo
  24. That kind of driving I get it. I’d do the same. Dropping $2-3000 for shocks for daily driving on the highway is an insane waste of money. You aren’t even beginning to utilize any of the benefits of those shocks. I’d bet a $100 that you could find a shock that rides as good as the Fox shocks on the highway for half the price. Dropping $2-3000 on shocks and driving on the highway is akin to putting an 80” tv in a closet. Great bragging rights but a senseless waste of money. 2014 z71 LTZ Volant Intake Borla Exhaust Diablo
