I have the super chips f5 tuner on my 2016 Silverado 5.3L 6 speed trans. The preset performance tune is close. Just need to turn up throttle response to at least 15%. Also disable afm/dod. There is no need for a custom tune unless you have a bunch of work done to your truck. ie. supercharger, turbo, heads, cam, headers, etc. An exhaust and cai don’t need anymore than this handheld tuner can do. Happened to both sides of my headlights at 750 miles. Dealer fixed it under warranty. I believe this happens because the headlight gets so hot that the double sided tape looses its stickiness. GM has a repair kit that includes better tape. Just go to the dealership. Haven’t had any issues since. Now I’m at 45000 miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

K&N filters suck oil through. In most cases, you will find it has sucked through to the MAF sensor giving you bad readings. If using a K&N filter, it’s prob best to spray the least amount of oil on it and just clean it really often. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You shouldn’t have any problems fitting the 37’s on a 8” lift. I have a pro comp 6” lift with king coilovers up front and if I raise the coilovers up as far as they can go I could easily fit 37” tires. Maybe just a little rubbing on inner fender well. It will engine brake going downhill if you have your foot on the brake. If you don’t hover the brake while going downhill, it shouldn’t be kicking on. And when it does kick on, you can easily tap the gas pedal and it will shut off. Just don’t ride the brakes going downhill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
