What rims? Any rubbing? Did you do any trimming?

I have a 19’ Denali with the adaptive ride control. I would like lift or level the truck but am finding that I’m options of kits are pretty limited due to the adaptive ride control. Anyone know if it’s possible to delete it or what some decent kits are?

My truck has an electric E brake, no pedal.

Nope. The knob only turns off lights when the truck is in park. I’ve looked at the manual.

My 0.2 cents. That’s still $15 savings. And it’s not like they have parts that wear out with use. So they shouldn’t even really depreciate.

Got something for people to try. Go into settings, go to Siri, go to announce messages, and turn that off. This worked for me.

I have the range technology AFM shut off tool for sale. Came out of my 14’ Silverado 5.3 6spd. Blue light and was the most updated version. Worked flawlessly in my truck and had no other affects. $180 shipped.

Would this make it so I can turn of my DRL and headlights with the knob? I think I’m reading yes but want to make sure.

Just bought a 2019 Sierra Denali. I want to shut off the DRL or the headlights but can’t. Turn the knob to the left does nothing, except for if the truck is in park.

Just bought a 2019 Sierra Denali last night. Didn’t notice and indicator of it going into AFM mode like it did on my 14 Silverado. Does the 6.2 have AFM? if it does, does anyone know if the range AFM disabler I had in my 14 Silverado 5.3 work in my 19 Denali 6.2?

I have a 2014 Ltz z71 1500 with a 5.3 and 6 speed. I have had it for about a year and a half and have started reading about a lot of problem spots, one being the transmission. So I plan on doing the “thermostat flip”. Even though I live in Minnesota, I think it’ll be ok during them cold winter drives. another add on I have read about and dug into a bit, is the catch can. It makes complete sense to me how this add on would help. Question I have about it though, once installed, should something be ran through the intake to clean the valves of what has built up? its little changes like these two that I am all for doing to help the truck run better and stay in good running shape for as long as possible. These are also the only 2 things I have heard about doing. Are there anymore? I’m not opposed to sticking money into the truck to do helpful mods either.

I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 5.3. When I stop at a light/stop sign, the rpm’s will drop a couple 100 then come back up. It never goes up and comes back down though, just drops then back up. Any ideas?

I don’t think there’s a recall. I haven’t done it myself. I watched a YouTube video of a guy doing it in his driveway and seemed easy enough.

Sounds like a PITA. And a job that should be done with so little miles. I did look through my grille on my truck yesterday and mine is completely black. Maybe mines been done already.

Had no one checked the ground bolt up under the driver side front speaker grill? I guess there’s a rubber gasket thing that gets caught between the bolt and washer not allowing it to make full ground.

I bought a 2014 Ltz about two months ago with 67k on the clock. Is there a way to tell if the condenser has been replaced(different bracket, color, shape, anything)? I bought it in a Minnesota winter so I couldn’t test to see if the ac worked or not, and reading this whole subject is worrying me. I have already had to replace the oil pump, if I gotta do ac parts too, I may just drive it off a bridge.
