Autozone says it's codes: p305c and p305e

Hi all, I wired up my dashcam a while ago, and pulled the wiring harness (big blue thing, see picture below). When I started the truck up it had a check engine light on (CEL). After a while it went away, I figured I unplugged a sensor or something. Fast forward to 2 days ago I repeated the process for attaching my CB and sure enough, the CEL came on. However, this time it's not going away. It's been over a 100 miles, at least 10 starts and stops. I've unplugged the battery for 2 hours, and also cleared the code using an old scanner I had, and the light came back. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Update on this - I've reached out to the company twice since posting this and haven't heard a response. Sad, because I always buy husky floor mats and recommend them to my friends. I'll be going with weathertech in the future.

Not sure either. Maybe the dealership would know? I have chevy rewards points I could use of it's available there, but can't find it.

I'm interested in this too. I have an LT 4x4 (non-z71) and wouldn't mind some protection under there. From what I was able to research, the part numbers are: 23385004 - https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-skid-plate-23385004 22847943 - https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-skid-plate-22847943 but I can't tell if those are metal or not. Does anyone know if these parts are plastic or metal?

Do you have HD radio? There's a few trims that don't have that, or the climate control. I'm not sure which level they are, but it sounds like you don't have that level of radio.

I can't get my truck to read the SD card with songs on it, is there a trick? I plug it in and press "USB" but it says no devices connected. The USB key/thumbdrive works fine, but i'd rather use the SD card slot. If it matters, I dont have the center console, but the fold up middle seat, with the SD reader below the climate controls.

Sometimes just mentioning "lemon law" to your service guy will get the reaction you need. I had a ford ranger back in the 90s that was in the shop constantly. I finally told them I was going to lemon law it, they escalated everything, and put a whole new engine in it. Worth a shot.

Double cab all day! I need a full size bed, and these new double cabs are big enough to carry a 6' guy. Not comfortable for a long trip, but no problem going to lunch/driving around town. The Chevy/GM double cab is what made me switch from my F150. I wanted the full bed, wanted the double cab, and will never own a truck with "suicide doors" ever again.

This is awesome, it's not possible to do something like this on the 1500 silverado I guess? I heard there's no option for a second battery for whatever reason.

@redwngr no name is displayed on my usb, it just says "USB" on the left menu. Maybe i need to take it out and give it a name on my computer?

I left it alone for the first 6 months, but now I kill it every time I get to my first stop and notice it's enabled. I wish it would "remember" the setting between start ups. I think the taco does.

Funny, I switch to Chevy from Ford since Ford still does the suicide doors. Yes, it's much easier to load things in, but a huge pain when you have someone riding behind you, or parked next to you. I prefer the "true" 4 doors.

Thanks @redwngr I guess I'm not understanding or I'm doing something wrong. If I'm on my USB key, and select an artist, (or song) it will continue to play that artist. I can go to FM and come back to USB, it will continue with that artist. I tried saying "play USB" and it switches over to USB, but continues on that 1 artist. How do you "exit" playing a single artist or song? can't find a way to "shuffle all songs" or something. thanks

OK, this may seem like a silly question, but how do you play "all" music on a USB key after telling to play an artist or song? For example, if I say "Play song Hotel California" it will play Hotel California, and nothing else. Hitting next just plays Hotel California again. The same thing happens if I say "Play artist Eagles", it will only play the Eagles. How do you get out of that and get back to shuffling all songs on the USB key? TIA!

Came from an 07 F150, on top of all things "standard" now (backup camera etc), I love how peppy this thing is! Night and day from my old truck. Just towed 300 miles with it, and it performed like a champ.

I use it when I'm hauling something long (like baseboard, molding, etc). Even though I have a double cab with the full bed, i still find it handy to slide things through the window from time to time.

Same here on my truck, under 10k miles, 2019. What is meant by not shifting from R to D quickly? Are y'all saying to go from R, to P, the D? Or R to D and hold the brake for a few seconds?
