  1. SOLD - $200.00 Truxedo Lo Pro Tonneau. Fits 2019(nbs) - 2021, Double Cabs. Used approximately 18 months. Excellent condition. I can send photos if interested. Local meets to 48611 only.
  2. I jumped in last month and placed an order for a 21 Double Cab, motivated to move now because it seemed the choices for Double Cab trims and options were getting fewer every day. I picked an SLE, the only other available trim besides the Elevation if I wanted a Double Cab, and loaded it up, including Multipro Tailgate and spray-in bed liner. Dealer called me yesterday and told me order was "not accepted" by GM. Seems they've got too many trucks to build, and not enough parts and supplier support. So they are *not* offering the Multipro or the spray-in bed liner on Double Cabs. They are saving those options for the Crew Cab upper trim levels. I realize the bed liner is no big deal - i can get that added from a dozen different sources. The Multipro, I'm just out of luck. But what I am really surprised at is that the Double Cab is so apparently unpopular. So who loves the Double Cab? To my eye, it is easily the best looking config - all the proportions are spot on. And you can get a full-size bed! And what I really like is that it is an individual setup, kinda like a two-door sports car: you get a Double Cab when it's a truck just for you and your gear (and sometimes your plus one). And isn't that really what the pickup truck is all about? The iconic lone cowboy? A man and his truck (and maybe a dog)? I've always thought that, but that is apparently the minority opinion. Enlighten me.
  3. Hi all, first post here. I just picked up a 2015 Silverado 1500 LS Custom 5.3 Double Cab with 35,000 miles about a month ago. Even though it's pretty much a base model I'm in love with the truck so far, been wanting to get a truck for a long time, mostly to haul dirtbikes and other recreational purposes and light household work. Already had the bed Rhino lined and added nerf bars and Carhartt seat covers. The only thing the truck is lacking for my purpose is the 60/40 rear seat, it has a one piece rear bench. I have a kid in a car seat that I'd like to keep on the 40 side and I want to be able to lift up the 60 to make room for my 2 50 pound dogs. The one piece bench makes that a challenge. Has anyone swapped the split bench from an LT into the LS? I watched a video showing how to remove the split bench and it looks like there's a floor mount between the two segments, but my single bench only has mounts on the far outsides. Otherwise it seems like swap would be easy. Thanks.
  4. Chevy Double Cab Second-Row Interlocking Premium All-Weather Floor Liner in Black - Fits 2014 - 2019 Legacy Double Cab https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/2017/Chevrolet/Silverado 1500/double-cab-second-row-interlocking-premium-all-weather-floor-liner-in-jet-black-23237404?categoryId=12001 $25.00 Local Pick-up Only (Mid-Michigan / Tri-City Area)
  5. Haven't found an answer in the searches so here goes. In the Double Cab config, is there a child lock option for the rear doors? My 3 year old is able to pull the door handle from his car seat. Thankfully he did it when we stopped in the driveway but I worry he can do it on the highway. I didn't see anything on the door jam. Thanks
  6. Its been awhile since I've put up an update post on what I have done to my truck in the past few months. So here is the list.... -RC 2 inch leveling kit -Carven performance exhaust ( Competition muffler ) -Aftermarket taillights ( returning soon as they already have issues ) -future planned taillights are morimoto's -Black bowtie swap front and rear -I may get aftermarket headlights in the future if prices go down. -Custom HD towing mirrors ( The front LED turn signals are sequential ) -20 inch light bar mounted onto a license plate bracket mount -20x10 -25 offset dropstar 655bm -33x12.5 toyo open country RT's -Front end air dam removal with trimming for tires -LED turn signal bulbs All these mods were done myself except for the tow mirrors since i had them done at my Chevy dealer so that i made sure everything worked properly and was warrantied for the wiring harness. Please give me your thoughts and opinions on my build and give me any pointers o what i should do next to the truck. I'm thinking about getting a cold air inductions CAI next.
  7. What's up ya'll. I've had my front and rear Rough Country floor mats in my 2014 Silverado Double Cab for a bit over a year. I shot a quick update video to show you guys how they are holding up and protecting my floors
  8. All installed the Stampede Original Riderz texture 8626-5 fender flares. Instructions not the best, no videos from manufacturer. However, I am very pleased with the fit and finish. The truck looks great and im sold. I will be contacting their customer service to give them feedback. My next search is for Mud flaps to go with the flares. I hoping I can use the Husky flaps. Attached before and after pics G

  10. I saw an advertisement for a 2017 Silverado LT Double Cab 4x4 for $229/month for 36 month, 10,000 miles per year, $2,000 due at signing. I wanted a higher milage lease so i called around and was quoted $270/month for 36 month, 12,000 miles per year, $2,000 due at signing. They said that after the month of August the incentives will change and those offers will expire. Does $270 sound like a good deal? Also, would you expect the deals to get better or worse as the year comes to an end. I'd assume better as they try to push the 2017 models off the lots for the 2018s.
  11. Wanting to sell the chrome on my truck. Mirror caps in great condition, each have a tab broke, but still work. Body side molding good condition. Three of the handles are in perfect condition. One is cracked from a minor side swipe. Send me some offers. Ready to get rid of it all for white.
  12. So, I'm looking to install a remote start system in my truck. I know some trucks already come with it wired up just does not come with the keys. My truck is a 2016 Silverado WT, which does not have it installed. I need some input on which one you guys think is the best for the money. Thanks for the help in advance!

  14. New to the Forum... I looked for this topic but couldn't find one specifically related (although it could be due to my "newness" to the forum) so I apologize in advance if it has been discussed previously I am in the process of finalizing a new truck search coming off a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and have zeroed in on the 2016 GMC Sierra. At this point, my main decision is trying to decide between a Crew Cab and a Double Cab. Understanding that there are multiple configurations of options on the Sierra, the Sierra SLE Crew Cab with "most" the options available on the Sierra SLT Double Cab (other than leather bucket seats with the center console) seem to line up price wise. My question for those of you that have gone through similar decisions, would/do you prefer the Crew Cab SLE version with the cloth front bench seats or the Double Cab SLT version and leather bucket/console? I would be using it a decent amount for carrying my family of four around although it would be our secondary travel vehicle for longer trips etc.
