Hello all, ive recently bought a new to me single owner 2014 gmc sierra 4.3 4x4 double cab with 43,000 miles on it. It has flex fuel standard and was wondering wether or not i should run e85. It is available local and pretty cheap, but ive heard that if the truck has ran gas most of its life the e85 would cleanse the deposits and possibly clog the fuel lines or fuel pump. Should it be safe to switch over to e85 ? Or could i just start running 89 since ive also read that its more beneficial running 89 or 93 over 87 due to detonation

I have a 2003 yukon sle 2wd. The radio, windows, gauges on right side of the dash all stop working. The abs, tc and air bag lights come on. Now if you press the brake the radio and windows work. The gauges sometime come back on. The vehicle runs good now stalling issues or anything. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what could cause this.

Hello all, I have recently purchased a 2017 GMC Sierra SLE Crew Cab, I have a question based on the package after I have done some research on it. With the badges it has on it and the packages the sales guy said it has per those packages I am questioning the ability to have that many on a vehicle. I am hoping someone can help me know if it is real or not. List is below. 1. SLE 2. Kodiak 3. Elevation 4. Z71 5. All Terrain

Can anyone explain the difference between the GMC SLE and the Chevy LT? https://www.laurabuickgmc.com/VehicleDetails/new-2019-GMC-Sierra_1500-Crew_Cab_Short_Box_4_Wheel_Drive_SLE-Collinsville-IL/3417978283 Trying to see what is different. In the past the SLE was about what the LS was. However the SLE’s at that dealer with the SLE value package are priced similar too and equipped like Silverado LT’s at other dealers. https://www.laurachevybg.com/VehicleDetails/new-2019-Chevrolet-Silverado_1500-Crew_Cab_Short_Box_4_Wheel_Drive_RST-Sullivan-MO/3413585293 (10 days ago this truck was a grand cheaper.)

Hey guys, like the title says, is the 16/17 GMC Sierra 1500 grilles easy like the silverado ones now or are they still harder and you need to take off bumper pad etc.. I wanna color match my shell and am wondering how hard it is before I get too involved. I searched the forum and lots of info on 2014 and 2015 but couldn't find any for 16/17. Thanks for any help guys.

I have a 2008 crew cab WT and a donor 2008 crew cab SLE I'd like all the SLE features and want to know what modules I'll need to swap without getting my BCM reprogrammed. My dealer won't do it for me. So Im ready to change all necessary modules in my truck with the donor truck including the ignition. Can you tell me if this is possible and what I'll need to do and what modules to replace? I understand they go by VIN or something. But if I get all the stuff from the donor and move it over to mine it should work without locking me out of the truck right?

Brand new GMC Sierra SLE crew, when I'm parked and I turn the high beams on I hear a clanking noise under the hood? But not when I'm driving. Is this normal? (First time GMC owner)

sle Brand New 2018 GMC Elevation Crew Cab- Low Oil?
20ELEVATION18CC posted a question in Ask the GM Technician
I recently bought a brand new 2018 GMC Sierra Elevation SLE. After having it for a few days and putting on 500 km, I decided to check the fluid levels. I noticed that the oil was on the lower side, meaning, it almost showed that there was minimal oil in the engine. I find this strange, seeing as normally you see the oil bubble on the dip stick between the 2 indicators. In my case, there was no proof of an oil bubble. It seems very faint and thin-looking on the dip stick. Just curious if this is how the new GMC's are, or am I just running on seriously low oil? -
I got a used truck back in September with a lucky 17500 miles on it when I got it. So low miles compared to the 28000 miles on the Subaru Crosstrek I traded for the truck even though they were the same year. I got the truck to tow my new travel trailer that I am full time living in as I create a business to travel the country to see what is out there. Tired of the office life. I got the gas version and know a diesel is better but the smell of the exhaust gives me migraines and I don't know how to fix them. So I purposely went for the gas truck. The travel trailer I have is only 8000lbs GVWR so I am well under the max towing of the truck. I look forward to doing some research here and looking into upgrades or changes that might fit my needs. Tim
