  1. The 5100 front shocks helped level the truck a bit, but one more inch would look more like what I expected. Can I just put in a 1" spacer without needing upper control arms?
  2. Do you need to have your signal on for this to work? Ive tried both ways and nothing. The article I read said it was new for 2021.
  3. And Im wondering if there is a way to make this work on my 2020 AT4? It gives you the side view from under the mirrors like when towing and you put your turn signal on, only this does it when you put it in reverse with a trailer hooked up. Its not the same down view for seeing the curb/front wheel/back wheel when parking, this one looks rearward. Sure would help when backing the trailer and should simply be a software fix. Anyone know if this is possible?
  4. I never said cafe is bad, that is open to interpretation. My point was that cafe standards are why you cant order just any gear ratio like you used to be able to. If other company's are doing it, whats the tradeoff? Going to smaller motors has proven troublesome as there are always unintended consequences like the early raptors drowning themselves if you stomped it after light highway driving in the humid southern states. Dont even get me started on turbo life. If smaller motors are the answer, why aren't all mfgs going that route? There must be a reason. Getting back to the gearing, go ahead and change your gears if you want to, but you can bank on the fact that the trans will NEVER stop hunting for gears. With the 5.3/6.2 and ten speed that came up with a great and capable setup regardless of what gears people might think they want.
  5. Your lack of understanding the CAFE issue leaves me speechless. Im surprised you were even smart enough to buy a GM product.
  6. Dont blame GM, blame Obama and the CAFE standards. Having said that I dont think you would be able to keep the ass end planted with much more gearing with the 6.2.
  7. My 2001 Z71 would do this if I downshifted, so I downshifted....A lot. Unfortunately with cam phasers this wont work on my AT4.
  8. Outside the Democratic convention.
  9. Ive had mine installed for about 3 weeks now and I love it. Super deep tone kinda like an old school big block sound. The facebook clip on page one is the best representation of what it sounds like that I have found.
  10. Raising boost will be the easiest way to gain HP in this motor. To get any real gains you better learn one of the tuning programs and start swapping turbos.
  11. Got my cans today. Any idea what "Heated" refers to on the sticker on the can?
  12. What would speak longevity to you? Soft shifts are not good at all for slushboxes. Just drive your truck and enjoy it.
  13. Hey look, capital letters and punctuation! I taught the monkey a new trick! You get a gold star for the day.
  14. Ok, thanks. Im thinking I might try putting the drain valves on the end of the drain hoses so as to be able to reach them easier and also so it wont drip out of the hoses after I drain it. Thoughts?
  15. Thanks for the video. I placed an order with RXP mid November and Im hoping to have it soon. Where did you put your drains?
  16. Is this supposed to be an insult? Looks like you were eating alphabet soup with your mouth open, and whatever letters hit the keyboard were posted. How do I know it was alphabet soup? Cause neither alphabet soup nor your post has any punctuation.
  17. I also use the lumbar support on my seats, but this generations setup misses the mark compared to my 2001 Silverado. IMO it goes too far up your back. I would look aftermarket for a solution if I were you.
  18. Yeah, window fog/dew are the only thing that has made mine not work correctly.
  19. After holding the button for 10sec is there any indication of it being disabled? A light or a chime?
  20. LoL! I hear crickets 24/7!?
  21. Just curious, what does ESC refer to? Edit: If that is Electronic stability control than yeah you're going to get that when plowing if there isn't a way to turn it off. Traction control button maybe?
  22. Yes, cars have done this from the inception of the electric starter. The fix is to crawl under there and hit the starter with a hammer.
  23. It will disengage when you give it a bit of pedal. It can cause the truck to lurch a bit so be careful.
  24. I got this today for the first time, didnt really seem like a big deal.
