Hey I realize that this is an old old post, but it's the only real relevant post that I see when I search this topic. (If there is another more comprehensive post about this then I would greatly appreciate a link!) There are numerous brackets with arms (I bought a Tackform) that can be mounted in this tray, and several people in this thread are mentioning what I think is one of them. I wanted to post this to give you guys a heads up here. These storage trays are not all the same. Some of these trays are molded completely into the dash as part of the dash (not removeable) and some of them pull out after removing the bolt and freeing up the four clips. It looks TO ME like the ones that have the bolt-hole in the upper, thinner, forward compartment closer to the windshield are the ones that can be removed. You can see an example of this above in this same thread. You can find these for sale from GM parts sellers and they all look like this. If your bolt-hole is in the large lower compartment that is further away from the windshield then you likely have the all-in-one non-removeable tray. I have not seen a tray for sale with the lower bolt-hole. I confirmed with my dealer with VIN number that mine is all one piece. My truck is a 2020 Custom Trail Boss. None of the available trays I've seen have listed Custom trim as being compatible so there's that. So maybe Custom/WT... these have the plastic dash that doesn't look as leathery. EDIT: now I've seen at least one example of what looks like at least an LT with this style dash tray that's not removeable. I really do think that the location of the bolt is the determinant here. Attached is pic of my bolt location (not removeable.) Hope this helps some of the frustrated people that may be looking for what is up with this.

Guys I'm having trouble finding an OEM part number or manufacturer from the places I normally look. Anyone got a link or number? Thanks in advance. I know there are tons of aftermarket parts that claim to work, would prefer one just like the other three if possible.

Last week I rotated my tires and I have the little hand held battery operated tool that lets you 're-learn' the position of your tires after you rotate them. All the honking and double honk at the end to confirm etc.... All that went fine, as usual... but this week the TPMS system 'lost' the left rear tire. It gave me a generic box on the display to service the Tire Pressure monitoring system. When I viewed the tires, the other three showed up fine, but the left rear tire just had dashes there (like when you're using your spare.) I used the tool to try to relearn them, and all three of the other tires will make it honk, but that last tire will not. My assumption is that the sensor in that tire went out. I'm out of warranty, and local Firestone wants $250 to replace one tire sensor. My question is: Can I just buy a sensor and have a tire shop replace it, and just use my tool to 'learn it'.... or are the sensors somehow programmed into the thing where a more complicated device is needed to 'add' a new sensor to the system. 2020 Silverado Custom Trail Boss This thing was hanging loose from up under the right rear wheel well. I tugged on it gently and it came out easily whole without feeling like it was tugging or braking off. It's brittle.. it bends but it will snap if you bend it too tightly. Crawled under there and cant see where I may have come from. Wondering if the tire just flung it up in there off the road and it got caught. Anyone know what this might be? They've been burying fiberoptic cable around here and I'm wondering if that's what it is but I've never really inspected a cut chunk of fiber. Just trying to make sure it's not some goofy seal that's fallen out of the cockles of my truck haha...

I'll order the part! I really liked the older LG phones as well. Had G2, G3, and G5. Really liked the ones with power/volume in the middle of the back, and liked the swappable batteries as well. I did see the thread but haven't read through it. I'll check it out. Thanks again.

Hey thanks for posting this.... I saw on the other thread where someone was saying that their replacement panel would not charge their android device but would maintain it. What is your experience here? I'm a Pixel user and definitely want to maintain charge-ability. I have 2020 Custom Trail Boss as well. I'll order the same part number that you did if yours charges as well as the original did. Thanks!

I've got the 4" OEM bars and I like them. Pretty sure they're the same ones on the trucks above.

I think ideally they do, but from what I remember the Sealights have a pretty thick rubber gasket/washer/whatever that makes them a bit more difficult to turn in the socket, and it wouldn't surprise me if this extra resistance more or less makes it impossible to feel when they pop into place. At any rate you're going to want to turn them as far as they will go, and when you inspect the unlit bulb seated in the headlamp assembly from the front the LEDs that create the light will need to be situated on the left and right sides of the bulb and NOT the top and bottom. If they're kinda diagonal then you haven't turned it enough.

Yeah I did but it's kinda hard to see because of the passenger front seat. I'd prolly order another one if they were available (as well as another plastic spring retainer clip) but I have not inquired if you can order those individual parts.

Hey I've been searching for info on the feasibility of adding power folding mirrors to a Custom Trailboss. I would not chase this if it were subjectively prohibitively expensive for me to do it. All the search phrases and terms I can think to use are returning a mountain of info and threads on the tow mirrors which are larger and that's not what I'm looking for. It was my understanding that there was a regular sized power-folding mirror for the T1 trucks. Is there a previous discussion about this that someone can point me towards? I would greatly appreciate it. I'd assume that maybe I might need harnesses and the correct instrument/switch assembly for the armrest in addition to the mirrors.... but again I'm ignorant hence the search. It's not my intention to complain that my truck did not come with them. I'm happy with the truck I bought. I'd like it if I could add this option for what I think is a reasonable cost. I'm not interested in discussing whether I bought the 'right truck' or not. Thanks! ?

The back matts have to be trimmed when you add under-seat storage because in their factory state they come all the way up in the back with that rim that goes around the back. If you flip the matts over you will see these pre-cut guides or grooves that you can take a utility knife to and easily cut them to fit. Seriously its almost impossible to mess it up if you flip them over. I think there is even a little scissors symbol on the underside where the groove is that indicates what it is for.

Thanks. The box is the OEM GM Box and I just removed the lids. I added a light strip on the plastic bottom/back edge of the rear seat to illuminate the storage box when the lid is off, which is how I usually use it. I guess I would have to relocate it to the inside of the lid if/when I ever decide to use the lid long-term. The battery pack/switch sits just inside the hinge of the seat and is easy to find with your hand in the dark. It's just a battery operated LED strip. Local truck store threw in 4 of these light strips when I bought my bed covers and I didn't use any of them in the bed.
