I'm lowered 3/5 and running 285/45r22 with no issues. Rims are 22x9.5 +20

If you don’t want to do a rear flip kit, the simplest would be to do a drop shackle. There’s 2” drop shackles that’ll get you level with the stock front. Or, you could go with one of maxtrac 2/4 lowering kits. They lower the front either with lowering struts or spindles and the rear would be a combination of hanger and shackle.

I’ve had the kit for 5 months now. It’s my first ever lowered truck. I gotta be honest...I love the look but I hate the ride. With my previous trucks and with this one when it was stock, I wouldn’t even blink an eye at potholes or curbs. But with a lowered truck and low profile tires there’s no such thing as “monster trucking” over obstacles. I knew that going in but I thought I would’ve got used to it by now. Anyways regarding the kit itself...plus and minuses. The 5” rear drop is not really a 5” drop. You need to run at least 5-10lbs of air in them always. Otherwise you’ll bottom out if there’s no air. IHC will even tell u that if u don’t run air in the bags then you’ll need to notch the frame. The bags are a plus tho. You can air up the bags to 50psi and tow a trailer with no rear squat. Their front control arms are unable to get 0 camber on alignment. You’ll get all greens but there’s still a slight negative camber. Take that for what you want but just thought I’d let you know. The front does drop 3 inches so no complaint with that. I would recommend swapping out the struts and shocks to Belltech. IHC does provide rear shocks but the Belltechs are better IMO. Not needed, but I would also recommend to upgrade to moog balljoints. You’ll need to buy bumpstops too. Requires you to cut the rear bump stops off the frame. Just get those pancake style bumpstops with the self tapping screws. Sorry kinda lengthy but let me know if you have questions. I know I mentioned more negatives than anything but honestly I really do love the look of my truck. Side note, maxtrac also makes a 3/5 kit.

I don’t have 24’s, but I was told by my installer to don’t go with 305’s because they’ll rub.

What rims are those? They’re nice!

285/45r22. No rubbing. If going with 24's it's recommended to go with 295/35. My roads are bad so I didn't want to chance it on 24's with the lower profile tires. Sorry, I don't have pictures but I'll try get some this weekend.

What’s your guys height to the top of the sharkfin? I need to figure out a setup with a max of 6’6 to fit in my work garage.

I put a Cold Air Inductions intake on mine. Was there a performance improvement?...slight but not much. Throttle response was slightly better on freeway speeds. Worth the $300+ dollars? Personally I don’t think so based solely on performance. It did clean up the engine bay nicely and I don’t have to change my air filter ever so I guess that’s a plus.

Switching the reverse bulbs to 1000+ lumen bulbs helped me a lot. The biggest issue I have with visibility is the sides. I park next to an island, so seeing the curb reversing at night is nearly impossible. Not the trucks fault, so I’ve gotta find something for lighting the sides.

Yes they stay on. I got the blue and you barely notice it. It emits downward and it doesn’t catch your eyes at all.

I had the BORLA s-type on my 5.3l and it wasn’t enough for me. I’m one that likes to hear/feel my exhaust and will side with a more aggressive sound. In my opinion, from idle-2.5K it sounds tinny with no guts (barely any deep/bass tone). Like others have said there’s no drone at all...which some people need/like. Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate the s-type and it’s definitely much louder than stock. I think the prob with the s-type is that the muffler...although it’s a straight through muffler...it’s almost the same size as the stock muffler. So whatever BORLA uses for sound deadening inside the muffler sure works good. I’ve since had a muffler shop remove the s-type muffler and replaced it with a flowmaster outlaw. I’m happy with the way my exhaust sounds now even if I spent some extra money to get it that way. Don’t trust videos on YouTube even if you’re wearing earphones/headset. That was my mistake! The s-type and flowmaster sound near identical on my Bose earphones but that’s far from the truth. My advice...if you like a more deep/aggressive exhaust sound and would be worried the s-type might be a little soft then don’t get it. But if you’re looking for reliability in the 304 stainless and just want your V8 to sound like one then the s-type is a good buy.

Any noticeable improvements?

I got a pedal commander on my 19 5.3l RST. It’s a night and day difference. I really like it! No codes...you can switch modes while driving but just make sure you are NOT switching modes when you are pressing the gas pedal. I advise not to use the Bluetooth since there’s a lot of people having issues with it. I’ve never used it. If you get a pedal commander, you really do have to try the different settings to see what you like though. One annoyance is the constant downshifting. For example, if you’re in Sport+ / +4 and at speed already...a slight push of the throttle even say a 1/4inch it’ll downshift and want to take off. The downshifting gets a bit irritating going uphill cause you’re constantly adjusting speed depending on traffic. Add a loud exhaust on top of that it gets worse. However, sport+ / +4 from a stop is incredible LOL. You gotta find a happy medium between acceleration response and the downshift nuisance. I have mine on Sport+ / +1 and it doesn’t downshift as much but I am mindful of the throttle. I could just set it on City and not have the downshift annoyance, but I prefer the acceleration more so it stays on the Sport setting. I can recommend it. Every mode besides ECO is an improvement from stock. It’s definitely a better mod than the intake I just installed which costs more than the pedal commander. If you don’t care about warranty, then just go straight to a tuner.

I’ve had it for about 2 weeks now. It’s a noticeable difference. Definitely more responsive especially on the highway. Truck sounds better too now that it’s always in V8...I’ve got a Borla s-type cat back and cold air intake. It doesn’t sound like it’s drowning in water like when DFM would switch on. However, it does amplify the decel popping/crackling due to the aftermarket exhaust. Some people don’t like the popping/crackling so it’s worth noting. Without the range dfm disabler, I hardly noticed the decel popping...idk maybe because DFM was enabled and it was in V4 mode? I drive mostly city...with range I’m at 16mpg, prior I was at 17mpg. Also, idk if it’s a byproduct or it’s secretly built in since they didn’t mention in the description is that auto stop/start is also disabled. The button light is still emitted but the feature is disabled. That was a nice surprise for me since I hate the auto stop/start. I’m not sure about the other stuff they boast about like the longevity of the motor but I’ll take their word for it since it makes sense that the motor doesn’t need to work as hard.
