  1. Had the Borla Touring installed today!!! Totally love the sound! So glad I went the Touring route. Anything more would have been too loud for what I was looking for. Nice and mellow while cruising but that 6.2 sound comes alive when you get on it. Perfect tone for me. The wife drove it tonight after dinner and it put a look on her face that only means one thing lol. ?
  2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/383695204965 these are the ones I bought. There are a few different ones available.
  3. I just received my Black Z71 badges I ordered from eBay. I was a bit cautious when ordering, but after receiving them I am pretty impressed by the quality. They seem to made of quality plastic with crisp edges and the grid inside the 71 is very detailed. Also the entire back of the badge is covered in adhesive instead of just a few strips of 3M tape. I will be looking at installing them this weekend. Here are a few up close pics of them as received.
  4. I agree... It would be nice if they went a little bigger for the TB. The tire does seem to be a bit small for a truck of that stature.
  5. How does everyone feel about the KOs from a self cleaning perspective? I've never had luck with any BFG cleaning themselves well. Even when my Duratracs have gotten gummed up I find the side wall tread gets me an extra little help to get out of most jams.
  6. Not to sound sexist but in our house we call it the wife awareness package. My lady doesn’t have much experience driving a big truck but she loves to drive it. I got the package mainly for when she is parking etc. Also I live on a fairly busy road that I have to back out of my driveway. I had it on my last truck and it’s saved my butt many times. I appreciate it on a daily basis.
  7. Probably opening up a can of worms here, but it seems very common for people to swap out their Trail Boss Goodyear Duratracs as one of the first things they do. These are my second set of Duratracs (first set on my 17’ Taco for 30k miles). I’ve run many of the liked brands of tires over the years on various trucks. Of all them I feel I like the Duratracs from an all around perspective the most. I find for how aggressive they are, they handle surprising well on dry pavement and in my experience they don’t get all wild in an emergency braking scenario. They’ve been excellent in wet and snowy conditions and clean themselves very well in the type of mud I spend most of my time in the mountains of south central PA. The road noise doesn’t bother me personally. I’ve owned louder tires in the past. Anyone else agree?
  8. It may take the $200 to prove if that is really the issue or not. Seems like the best way to debunk their claim though. Then I'm sure they would get you on the technicality that you altered the trucks computer. Tough one either way.
  9. That's what I'm talking about! I had 4 loaded in my Taco last opening day and had to try to close the Tonneau. It was busting at the seams....
  10. Haha.... Also coming from a 17' Tacoma. I transferred all my stuff from the Taco to the Trail Boss. I was like where's everything else??? Tacoma had ZERO storage... especially with the subwoofer on the one side. Best part is I can now fit my climber and more then a single deer in the bed! Sales guy thought I was nuts when I said I needed more bed space to fit deer. lol.
  11. I'm gonna mess with it this week and report back.
  12. Installed the Xtang Trifecta 2.0 soft tonneau. I was debating on so many of them I wasn’t sure what to do. I’ve had good experiences with these in the past and I needed to get my bed covered so this is the route I went. Pros: easy install, easy operation and affordable Cons: needs adjusting to allow tailgate to auto drop, doesn’t cover bed rail holes completely but it isn’t a deal breaker, could be a little wider. I’ll post pics soon.
  13. Detail guy had for two days to do the Ceramic coating and had them remove the Trail Boss decals.... My god this thing shines now. Pics don't do it justice. He also must have coated the running boards. I almost killed myself getting in. lol Gonna take another look over the weekend. Came out amazing though.
  14. Nice... good to know. I assume they come with adhesive on them. How’s the quality of that?
  15. Nice! I have a set of these on order and wanted to see some other pics hoping I didn’t get “had”. They look real nice. Looking forward to installing mine.
  16. Gotcha... I didn’t really want to have the DFM disabled. Thanks for the info!
  17. So wait.... I didn't realize the unit did both the Auto Stop and the DFM disable. Or is there a special one you ordered? This is the one I bought.... https://www.rangetechnology.com/products/start-stop_disabler/gm/parts/RA005B
  18. Same here... The look of the TB sold me. Plus the Midnight Edition with the back badges and 6.2. I wish the same tech came in the TB as the AT4, it was hard to choose one over the other for that reason. IMO the TB is a much more aggressive looking truck before you touch it. It's all personal opinion at the end of the day. I'm only in my first week but I absolutely love my TB.
  19. The previous few days days it did turn off at both lights. I did drive it around a little last night and it didn’t turn off. Still not sure why the light stays on. I saw a couple videos on another disabling hack and the light turns off and the truck just remembers the state you leave it in from the previous time it was driven. I was expecting the same from the Range device.
  20. Installed this yesterday.... Seems like it works. I haven't noticed my truck shutting off at lights anymore, which is the intended purpose. That said, I would think the the Auto Stop indicator light / button would go out if the system was disabled? I noticed it is still lit and I can still press it and turn it off manually. Just curious, can I still enable the Auto Stop feature by pressing the button and turning it off then back on? Or does it do nothing regardless and I have to remove the dongle to re-enable the Auto Stop feature? The whole Auto Stop thing has driven me crazy for the entire 4 days I've owned the truck, but I could see myself using it if I were to be in bumper to bumper traffic on the highway or something. I haven't really had time to mess with it yet. I only have a 2 mile commute to work.
  21. To be honest, I bought them off EBay and probably paid entirely too much lol. Friend of mine does some really great work with his high end 3D printer and said he could make a set for me out of black plastic if I gave him mine to analyze, but said he wouldn’t be able to do it for a few months. Unfortunately I am entirely too impatient for that, so I bought a set lol. Hopefully they’re nice. The seller gets good reviews at least. https://www.ebay.com/itm/383695204965
  22. Like @BluegrassMotorsport said, you get a bunch of points for enrolling when you buy a truck. There is a whole point schedule on their site. You earn points for all types of things. I was talking to my dealer about it. Gonna put my $$$ towards some illuminated door sills at some point.
  23. Thanks... my 6.2 badges came black though. Actually I just ordered black Z71 badges for the upper genders. I saw a few plastidiped ones and didn’t like they way they looked.
