  1. Glad you posted the exact specs, I had the exact size and brand that came with the truck when bought new but my speed limiter was at 98mph. I've read multiple threads and it seems 98 are set for this wheel/tire specification. So...maybe your truck was "mis-programmed" and maybe you got a recent OTA update and it got flashed to match the true spec of the truck.
  2. I've read a few threads on 4WD systems and keep coming across comments "don't use it unless you have to" and "it's going to wear out the system" and . I'm like.. then what the hell is the purpose of 4WD?? I get it.. to not use is on a pretty sunny day, I've only used it a couple times on rainy days but I'll keep reading to educated myself to be sure I'm doing the right thing.
  3. Mine never changed but the first time that I did hit the speed limiter it was during passing a vehicle and I was scared "ball-less " hitting that speed.
  4. Glad you found out 3 years ago, discovering it now would be a shame of ownership .
  5. BCM from 2021 to 2022 are different. Looking from the bottom, left row closest to the driver door panel, black plug closest to the firewall, pin 1.
  6. Interesting...off topic but looking at the pic are the Active Shutters closed or open when the truck is off?
  7. If you like the truck then hang in there...
  8. Agreed. It will need to be buffed off with a mechanical buffer of your choice (I use a dual action polisher). For light swirls I use Meguiar's Ultimate Polish, works really well, I even use it by hand with a microfiber towel when I see a few scuffs here and there. OCD say's not on my watch swirls. Good luck.
  9. It's like the saying "Treat others as you would like others to treat you". I like sharing my result when someone is willing to provide what they've discovered and spend that extra time to respond to a stranger unlike many posts that I've read and many unanswered questions. No need to be selfish, if you are receiving help from others then take the time to give back. Everyone wins!
  10. I came across from another thread or forum (can't remember where) that when un-hooking the trailer it was best to keep the truck on and running (in park of course). Not sure if you've tried that.
  11. Thanks. I figured it out! Playlist is working and I can finally choose different playlist and the MP3's are listed exactly in the order of the playlist.. Good luck.
  12. The stealth looks good. The pics in the rain definitely adds character!
  13. Well... I went with the Brake light logic module, an easy 4 wire connection, I added a fuse to the ground. Turn signal left nor right has no affects on the camper shell third brake light. The camper shell brake light stays solid when blinking left or right. Count this a win! Logic box used.
  14. Did you find a solution? I notice my playlist does not work either. It see's the playlist title but after selecting it, it does not see the song list. All MP3's and M3U playlist are in single folder in the root of USB drive.
  15. Perhaps one could install the trailer harness extension kit under the truck and connect the 7 pin connector to it for a cleaner look and no stub sticking out back of the truck.
  16. Free gas cap. Was doing an oil change on another vehicle and thought the cap might fit the Silverado.. Bam! it is 99% perfect fit, the plastic will conform to the inlet, takes about half turn to tighten.
  17. That's great you don't have to take an unnecessary drive but daaang almost a year later for the retrofit..
  18. Not sure if it's related but I've had similar situation on 03 Trailblazer, If the vehicle is parked too close to the pump where the hose was not stretched out a bit, it would kick off frequently, if I pull the hose to let it stretch out some, it pumps fine. so I've made an effort to park not too close to the pump to let the hose stretch, it's been working out.
  19. Looks good.
  20. There's a "Search" function in the forum. I use it to find answers or questions to what I'm curious about and ask or reply in those threads for advice.
  21. Refresh Silverado 2022, On cold temperature days so far discovered between 50's ~ 60's if the HVAC is off and upon starting the truck, the heated steering wheel and heated seats will automatically turn on for 5 minutes then turn itself off.
  22. Absolutely agree, it does the job well!
