    I find that the qr code on the door jamb only lists some of the rpo codes. Best to ask your dealer to print out the rpo codes from YOUR vin.

    GM has a carbon cabin filter available. I forget the number off the top of my head. It works well on road kill skunks.

    If the oil meets gm specs it won't be an issue. No issues using a non gm filter.

    I know when mine goes into elevated idle, it sounds like the fan clutch engages, but it's more of a roar of air. Takes a few minutes to engage. Wait till it's around 0°F and the ecm stalls the tranny to warm it up! It's kinda fun setting outside of the truck in the shop for 15 minutes listening and watching the truck do it thing.

    I'm doing my best keeping pre-emission equipment running. Parts are still available, fortunately. Still have a couple of square body's, but the 3 new pickups are loaded to the gills with emissions. No way I could keep up with 2000 acres, with this equipment, but what small family farms could.

    Twist it open and tighten a hose clamp around it. Did that on a '15 GMC yukon after the first month. Still on there today.

    Makes sense. Give it a try and see if gm's goofy cable system will tighten down with the extra cable it will have to roll up. Do the spares still use a cable as a safety backup on the X's?

    I use a device like this on all 3 trucks. I honestly think this hack is one reason why gm is deleting wired car play from their vehicles.
