  1. and a chevrolet grille will not fit on a GMC
  2. i wonder if this is the new update that is supposed to be over the air that seems like nobody has gotten yet
  3. i agree. I sold my mega cab to my brother-in-law and bought the '20 GMC. the actual seating room is bigger in the GMC, but the mega cab back seat reclines and has storage behind it. the kids liked the reclining seat and the storage was nice
  4. they don't sell them
  5. makes sense, but my passenger side closes significantly faster
  6. putting new wheels on the truck soon. i need to get lug nuts. i want to make sure I get them long enough, but not too long. don't want them sticking way out of the lug hole bores. how long are the wheel studs? thx
  7. i think there is a way to "reset" them. look in the manual my driver side one is considerably slower than the passenger. I will have them look at it at the first oil change
  8. they are. I asked another member to measure, he said they are about 90". Amp has an 85" board. I may end up getting those. I don't understand why they come with the 79" boards if the longer ones fit ??
  9. OP... Can you do me a favor? can you measure the length of your power step board? thanks
  10. looks really good, clean! ?? I am going to run the same size wheels and tires for the same reasons as you. I actually picked up the tires yesterday. I did however level mine. you could run the extended GM mudflaps/splash guards. looks like they provide about 1" more coverage and do not look bad IMO
  11. ok cool, so the amazon tool should program the new sensors to the truck?
  12. Thanks. I know that tool will relearn the TPMS for position changes. What I want to know is if I buy completely new sensors, will the truck recognize them, or does the dealer need to actually program them to the truck?
  13. i would get a set of OEM probably from a site like gmpartsdirect or similar. they are about 1/2 price compared to the dealer which tool exactly? thanks
  14. Question: Do new TMPS sensors need to be programmed to the truck individually by the dealer or can one of those TMPS tools "wake them up" and get the truck to recognize them? A tool similar to the Amazon one that has been posted several times I have heard both; they need to be programmed and the tool will work. Confusing I am getting new wheels/tires, and GM TPMS sensors (same part number for my truck). I would like to keep the stock wheels intact and not have to break down the tires to remove the sensors thanks
  15. that is what I heard, not sure though
  16. are your tire pressures low? I just learned that if you have a low tire pressure, the turn signal light in the same location as the low tire will flash
  17. i've had both. 2018 Ram 3500 with Aisin. Not a single problem with it in the 1 1/2 yrs I had it. My brother-in-law bought it. Now in a 2020 Sierra 3500. It does have some of the little issues talked about here. Time will tell The Ram felt more solid. The GM is more fun and comforting to drive. Both haul my boat just fine. If you go with the Ram, make sure you get the Aisin transmission. I have had 2 trucks with it, never a problem
  18. did you make sure you didn't turn it all the way down?
  19. i am guessing the difference between the 2 power step options for the AT4 and Denali are just the chrome strip on them. I know the Denali has it, I bet the AT4 does not
  20. could you do me a huge favor? can you measure the actual length of the board? I am guessing Amp does indeed make them for GM, they look nearly identical. I think GM may be putting the longer board on them as opposed to what comes with the Amp kit. I would be interested in swapping to the longer boards if they would fit. thanks
  21. guys are running 35s on stock wheels all day long. now if you start getting into aftermarket wheels with less offset, you may need to do some mods to make them work
  22. i have found them at summit and various other retailers. they are on ebay as well
  23. where are they hitting? My tire is 1/4" from the ball joint pocket on my Cognito UCAs
