My bought new in 2014 SLE CC never wrecked was broadsided by a deer a few months ago. Scratched front door, moderate damage to rear and some to bed below gas filler all on the drivers side. Body shop fixed it they put new door skin on rear and massged out the bed. Truck looks great only issue is a slight wind noise from the rear door somewhere seems near top ?? I rode on passenger side to ensure not normal but do not hear it on that side and can still hear it across the cab.....again not very loud but it is there. Body shop is trying to figure it out but unsure if they can isolate it. I have taped the seam between the two doors vertically but no dice. It does lok like the top rear of that door has a slight bit more gap than the other one?? Any pointers or better way to troubleshoot is appreciated. Yotaman

Depinning is a dark art. gently feel around while tugging gently on the wire to release. Not much is holding the connector in there. Yotaman

Gives me hope that my 2014 SLE with 88K has some life left in it. I just hope without the transmission drama. already had the AC condenser fail once. Impressive it has made the 300K but I would not call it reliable with two transmission jobs.....now my 88 Toyota it was reliable. AC, Transmission, 22R engine never failed thats reliable.

I used to get those alarms for years and the dealer replaced the brake level reservoir switch and I have never seen it come back in. Yotaman

Lots of good points and I agree the newer lawn tractors are cheap and won't last too long. I came across this 1992 Diesel powered Kubota a few years ago and swapped it for a Golf Cart my kids were no longer riding. It has a 3 cylinder 18 hp engine. I use it as a backup for my 20-year-old Exmark ZTR and for yard work. If you can find on in good shape, they are a great value as when new they were like 7K but the Zero Turn has devalued them due to their overall grass cutting speed and performance. But if looking for a lawn tractor these are hard to beat.....and I know old post but springtime and people may be interested in the yearly Grass cutting debates XB 2002

I have a 2014 SLE non bose I recently installed a used Kicker Powerstage sub and amp into. It is a huge improvement over stock but not the hardest hitting bass but more a deep bass full sound. The DSP amp really wakes up the dash speakers and doors as well. It was easy to install retains all factory radio functions and can be removed easily but nowhere near what a custom system would be if you want it heard bumping outside of truck. I have searched and looked but I wonder if anyone has tried to swap out the Kicker amp on the 10" sub with a better maybe Fosgate etc. type if the bass would be harder. Not a bad system and I like it but don't think it will be like a Punch 75 in the 1980's Yotaman

On my 2014 I had that and brakes or something else and it turned out to be the brake level res switch. Took years to get it figured out and I thought yeah I never had a brake level alarm but it has not been back on in 3 years.....may be worth investigating.

Yea Tom me either, I am thinking maybe at least with my older Kicker maybe the Kicker would be Bluetooth equipped. The instructions I downloaded for mine mention nothing about APPs. Maybe yours does. I would read over your product and see and maybe google it. Best of luck. At least we got a lil boom and hearable front speakers now. Yotaman

I bought hte DSP amp and rear sub used for 400 and I did not find the install very hard. It sounds clean and has a fair amount of bass. I was wondering if anyone ever tried to swap out the amp on the sub with another maybe Fosgate type amp if even possible ? Yotaman

Keith, I have the Morimoto HID kit in my 2014 SLE with the projector headlights. If that is the lights, you have I think LED's have not worked well with it. The Morimoto's are great although sometimes glitchy and won't fore one side but that is like 1-2% of time. If you do not have the projectors, please disregard and best of luck. Yotaman

In my opinion GM uses cheap as they can find suspension parts. My 2014 had a ball joint getting loose and the local tire shop wanted 700 to replace both upper ball joints. I came home and found I could buy Moog Problem solver ( Higher grade ) upper and lower arms with greaseable ball joints both side for around 600 from Rockauto so I did it myself. I would go with Snowcamo's advice and get a quote and you supply the hardware. best of luck. Yotaman

With current prices ima just keep mine and hope for the best. I figure a trans rebuild for 3-5K and another broke AC condenser I can fix is worth the gamble over my truck and 35K to trade ??
