  1. After 2 straight days of rain the passed week, my back seats were wet and the windshield was fogged on the inside from the moisture in the cab. I'm calling the dealer monday. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  2. VXDAS Auto Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor TPMS Relearn Reset Activation Tool OEC-T5 for GM Series Vehicle You can search this on Amazon. I've used it to program trailer tpms sensors when i got them installed. I've also used it to reprogram my truck sensors after two tire rotations. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  3. I've used the tool and it works. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  4. In case anyone else is considering the new Peak fluid, my 2020 Sierra did not like it. Although, it has not caused performance issues, i began getting poor DEF quality messages intermittently. The messages will come on and then clear on it's own within a minute. I contacted Peak and they responded with the following, "Thank you for contacting us. We are aware of this happening with 2020 GM products. We have learned that General Motors has a computer software update for the exact issue you are having. This is not a DEF issue but rather a GM issue." Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  5. 11547581 clips are correct. I installed the smoked sequential fender lights and replaced several clips. The Boost Auto install video says if you are careful and use trim tools, you can get the fender off without breaking the clips. That is not true, go ahead and have the clips on hand because they are going to break. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  6. Got my truck back about 3pm yesterday. They replaced the main battery saying it was testing bad. I went several places after with no issues. Seems odd for a battery to die in 9 months but i guess it happens... My screen did not have issues prior to having the battery replaced. I read the other forum about the radio display but i have not been remote starting too often lately. If i do, the screen comes on with no issues.
  7. I got my truck jump started and i drove it to the dealer yesterday around 11am. The diesel mechanic was out so they didn't touch it. I'm supposed to find out more today hopefully. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  8. Well, add me to the club. My truck was completely dead after sitting for about 12 hours. I don't have a jump box big enough so i have to wait until monday. I'll call roadside and then get it to the dealer. I do not have amp steps or anything else that should be draining the battery. I'll update with results when i find out. 9. The main difference is the light is dimmer on the sides. It still lights the middle fine. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  10. Glad you got it! Sorry, i didn't see this until now. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  11. Maybe these will help. I pulled them from the light duty forum a year ago. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  12. I blacked out mine with "VViViD Air-Tint Dark Black Headlight Taillight Tint Air-Release Vinyl Wrap Film 17.75 Inches x 60 Inches Roll" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GQRQ996/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_S3HgFbB7C6WBV It's been a few months and it's holding up well so far. Can't beat blacking them out for less than $15 dollars. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  13. I got the P20EE code at 800 miles after pulling a trailer for an extended period of time. I reset the light and it has not come back on in over 7000 miles. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  14. It's not often but when mine stays black, i push the home button below the radio and it comes back on. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  15. The most notable difference is overall ride and handling. With the soft suspension of the 1500, the truck felt floaty and i was gripping the steering wheel with both hands a lot of the time. Cross winds would constantly push and pull the truck around. The second biggest difference is the gas tank. 24 gallons at 8 to 9mpg does not get you very far. With 36 gallons, i feel like i drive forever. I was also maxed out on tongue weight, payload and RGAWR. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  16. I did the same as limelight. I bought a 2019 Sierra 1500 and was pulling a 33" travel trailer weighing about 7500lbs. The half ton wasn't handling well with that size trailer so i bought a 2500. My first HD...what a difference!
  17. I have 2800 miles and mine has done 3 regens, each occurring every 800ish miles. The only reason i know is because i use the torque pro app with a bluetooth OBD dongle. I added some custom programs which tell me the soot level and regen status. The custom programs are from a guy on youtube, Chad Ivan. He created the programs based on the small Duramax but it has worked great on the 6.6. The only thing i notice different when the truck is in regen is the instant fuel economy. Normally, when coming to a stop, the reading is 99mpg. During regen, it was 30 to 40mpg. I would have no idea otherwise. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  18. I realized the TSB is already on here.
  19. Well, this is my first diesel so i don't know any different but i have the TSB which says it is normal. I will try to get it later and attach the info. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  20. The camera was fine after i reconnected everything. I sometimes get the blue screen but that was happening before i removed the tailgate. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  21. I removed my tailgate recently. It does come off at the 45 degree angle but not easily. I'm not sure if the damper puts some added pressure on the hinge. Keep tugging though, it will release. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  22. That has happened to me about 3 times with my S8. Restarting the phone worked 2 of the times. The other time, it fixed itself after the truck was off for a while which restarted the radio. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  23. Still waiting for some options. The regular mirrors are doing ok for now. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  24. I don't have a Trail Boss but i have the XR on my Sierra. With the same bed dimensions, maybe it will give you an idea. Install was fairly easy and i like how the tailgate can be operated independently without having to open the cover. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  25. I installed th F107s on my 6.2. And the extension ADP 107 is not needed. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
