Faraday pouch works EXCELLENT mine works when sitting in the truck pouch in pocket with me. Kill switch that runs a relay from another key fob is also a great idea or a pedal commander that kills throttle at anything above idle it works off an app on your phone. A lot of options out there PLUS throw on an old school club to buy more time but put it on with lock cylinder facing away from you so the thief has a hard time drilling it if they try rather than cutting it. The added relay with fob is a good one or the hidden kill switch. But add layers as time is what you need to buy. I Have used both of these on 2 different trucks.

Yeah, I had always heard that you have to "unlock" the ECM and TCM to program them, there are units that can be bought for that now but I think they only allow there own tunes. It would be GREAT if you could find out what program etc he was using. Glad you finally got it figured out, how is the performance now and any info on cruise RPM at like 75mph? Is gas mileage still good?

THIS, I have a Pulsar on one truck and the disabler on anther and frankly I never even thought about it and have never had an issue I go sometimes a couple months without starting the one with the disabler. The little led's can't possibly drain much at all.

Well there COULD be a problem if you bought some cheap China wheels from a tire shop etc. The wheel load rating is what you need to look for as well as using a tire that is rated for such weight. The 2500HD HC is tough to beat with anything much less a ZR2 if you tow and your resale will be higher on the HC when you do try to sell it. I am old and like comfy, if I want off-roading I would not do it in an expensive truck like the ZR2 anyway. The duramax has a gazillion miles to go from where you are at and even if you did buy an extended warranty when your taps out(warranty) it is YEARS down the road. Keep it is my thoughts

I used Wolfbox for the front camera install it is excellent and a real savings over any other option that I found.

Check PCV as well guys, on our performance rigs when boosting is increased we need to vent the crank case out behind the passenger compartment. I know you are likely running stock CC pressures but it is a quick and easy check.

I have these on a 2020 1500 and they helped a lot with the control feeling when loaded with a 24' enclosed car hauler. I used the thickest disc and left it there rides great and has 1 degree of rake unloaded and at rest according to the angle sensor display. Did not seem to "stiffen" the ride to me.

Run the 3500 into the ground, and enjoy it, why drive around in a little POS just to save a few pennies? The "beater' will still burn some gas and add tags, maintenance and another insurance payment and you will find not much real difference I bet. Safety is also a huge factor with the crazy drivers these days. The 1/2 ton isn't made for real towing we all know that. My 2 cents
