    I hear there is a problem with bad grounding near the dash speaker on the drivers side. This bad ground causes a lot of issues with dash power apparently. You can pop the dash panel closest to the windshield and take a look to make sure you have a good connection. You'll be able to see it once the panel is off. There may be a loose connection or a problem with the crimp on the spade.

    I wish I could put one of these hoods on without the functioning intake. The hoods look like something a middle schooler designed on the bottom side. I like the look of the outside but could not care less about the functionality.

    Lights are programmed through the bcm so there isn't a lot you can do. Some take the spring out of the light switch and leave it off. I'm just letting mine do its thing. I'll either get mine warrantied when they die, or I'll buy new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I wouldn't sweat the dust covers. If you screw one up you can buy them off of eBay for about 10 bucks. Fastheadlights heats them up and makes them bigger, I just don't have those ninja skills apparently.

    I personally like my 6500. About the fxr kit from fast headlights.... It makes the install super easy. He has a video on his site about the install. And no the caps will not fit. I cut mine horizontally and bridged them with aluminum tape. Not what is ideal, but not a huge deal. The fxr performance is out of this world and definitely something I'd recommend.
