These are the exact lights that I purchased. You can find similar sets on ebay for a couple bucks less. I think I paid around $25 shipped. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-6-3-inches-Off-Road-18W-CREE-LED-Fog-Lamp-Work-Light-Bar-SUV-4x4-Jeep-4WD-DRL-/171735291054?hash=item27fc3894ae1 point

I like the new lights and front bumper on the sierra but I think they messed up the grille. Hopefully the new 16 tail lights fit the 15's those look really sharp, not sure how I feel about the new bar led's in the 16 but, led head lights would be a nice upgrade.1 point

I own a 2014 Silverado double cab and I wanted to get the Sierra but every one I tested had a shake 5 in total so the Silverado I tested did not so I bought it after my dealer let me drive it for the weekend. Also my friend has a Sierra crew and had the the highway shake but all we did was get new tires and it fixed it. I've read that it's not tire related but in this case it 100% was and now we still have do not have vibration at any speeds with 30000km on the trucks and there perfect Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I have read some of the posts here... not reading it all as the thread is stupidly long now at close to 6000 posts however.... and nope, back to normal empty. Either it's the trailer itself or the driveshaft angle in how it was loaded. Already took it out as I said above and it's fine again. My vibration wasn't like a lot of this thread where it's an annoying resonance you feel in the console and obviously drive you crazy.... it was like I had mud built up in the rear rims. Like I said though, it's fine now. It's going to get my tool boxes for work in the next week or two which is an easy 1000 lbs of weight and will have new tires before that as the p series stuff it has are useless on gravel. Then we shall see if it vibrates. Sent from my potato1 point

Basically there are two harnesses, one for each tail light. I tapped in the passenger side right where it passes over where I mounted the light pod and on the drivers side I tapped in right where the harness leaves the rear distribution block, again, right over where the light is mounted.1 point

I just tapped the harness right above where the lights are mounted so that they only come on in reverse or when you hit the unlock button at night.1 point

I've had mine for several thousand miles and the tires show absolutely no signs of wear. If this continues I'd expect a tread life well over the 45k warranty. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk1 point

Should post a picture if you can of where you tapped into for power and stuff very nice Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk1 point

This is a number that I don't think you can get with any accuracy. Some people may have it and not notice it, some it is very mild, some trucks might never see the speeds where the vibration occurs so they might have it but you'd never know. For me and others it starts right at 70 mph and up on smooth asphalt. Where I'm at the speed limit on the freeway is 70 mph and has just been repaved recently so I get to experience it everyday on the way to work and everyday on my way home. Do yourself a favor and get a RAM, If I could go back in time and do it over again I would get the RAM. My vibration problem didn't show up until about 2000 miles. So don't think just because the test drive went well that you're in the clear.1 point

Wow never noticed this thread! My little tractor, lol. She's gonna be 11 this coming January. A little over 1,100 miles, & 270 hours or so. '05 Polaris Sportsman 800. Just went through her from top to bottom - after 1,000 extremely tough New England miles, it was time for some repairs last year. Got some ITP Mudlite XTRs, new OEM radiator (bent front frame plowing, and sliced radiator), thermostat, new OEM front CV axles, heavy duty tie rods & ends, front frame, brakes, belt, fuel filter, winch rope, plugs, completely rebuilt front differential, and a few other things I probably forgot about. While I had it apart, I wired up a pile of relays for the reverse override, reverse light, and 3 headlight mods - there are 2 switches I can throw to revert it back to 100% stock, and the other kills the running lights (in case I need to roll in stealth mode - this is MA here after all).. I also removed the fuel pump, cleaned the sock, and finally fixed my faulty fuel gauge issue I've had since the first week of ownership, back in January '05 when she was brandy new. Nice to at least have a clue that the tank is getting low. The year prior, I disassembled the front and rear A-arms for some much needed grease. Would've been a billion times easier had they installed a few grease fittings there. Also threw in some ball joints while I was at it. Had a couple cracked hubs over the years. One side broke when it was only a year old, and the other broke last year. Wasn't too crazy about a fuel injected ATV, but so far she's been pretty faithful. Haven't had to fix one part of the electronics on this thing yet! This thing has been sunk in mud and water every single one of her 10.5 years of service too, and I rarely wash it. Maybe GM should take some pointers from Polaris ... Some of the other goodies I have are the front push bar, rear storage box, Warn 3.0 winch, heated grips, thumb, and seat - all with 5-way adjustable heat settings. Great for plowing. No plans to get rid of her yet. Still enough power to keep me entertained.1 point
