A louder Magnaflow muffler would be the 14151 which is a 3.5" in/out with a 14 inch body. It is a "race" muffler so it would be loud. The shop could have used a 3" muffler with a 14 or 18 inch body which would be louder than a 12909. The 12909 has a 22 inch body with a 3.5" inlet/outlet, is offset/center and fully reversible. Fits great provided the shop takes their time measuring and cutting off original muffler and flapper valve. My guess is your truck does not have the 12909 because at cruising speed it is very quiet.
Burgundy was my 1st choice back in 2014 but no 6.2s so went with black. Never again traded for current WDT. Black wears you out trying to keep it clean.
Good looking All Terrain sir. Color was my first choice back in 2014. I bought black instead because there were no Garnet Red 6.2's in Texas at the time and wasn't into Summit White or Silver. BTW did you get 70,000 miles out of the Toyos?
Finally picked up my truck earlier this afternoon from dealership. Headlight housing was replaced and driver seat cover is on order. They will be calling once it arrives.
What a effing moron!
Some people have no business getting behind the wheel. Too this wasn't at a my GF's apartment complex. They towed her friend's car for parking on the yellow line.
Anyhow I took my All Terrain into the dealership this AM. Passenger side headlight got major condensation after a big downpour and it took out a portion of the DRL. Also driver's seat developed a small tear. According to service guy parts have been ordered.
After about 2+ months of putting it off helped a friend install TRS Morimoto GMC Spec 35W, 5500K HID kit on his 15 2500HD Denali Duramax. Took a little more effort than my gasser but nothing too bad. Due to rainy weather only got a thanks. Now sun is out so a BBQ and some ? may be on order.
Normally I would wholeheartedly agree with you LA. However the body shop owner brought steak, chicken, sausage, beer and a bottle of Black Label for the cook(me) so we could cookout at my buddy's shop for Christmas. Usual parking space by a liquor store was full and since it is a dubious part of town I stupidly parked by the body shop. Anyhow I took care of the problem and will chalk it up to learning a lesson.
Went to a gathering yesterday and parked by an adjacent body shop. Truck had overspray all over.? Washed and clayed it than applied wax. Super tired and need a cold one so will post a pic tomorrow.
Good idea TruckGuy!
Seems this should help folks be able to decide on what lighting upgrades will suit their budget and ability to perform an installation or outsource the project.
Got rid of some random deep scratches on hood probably inflicted by my neighbors kitty. Used a new GG Orbital Polisher I bought with Meguiars 105. Once scratches were removed topped area with a coat of Pinnacle Souveran Wax.
Great looking truck Bwright??
Spurshot thanks for the honest review of the LED headlights on your Sierra. Have TRS HID kit on my 15 Sierra but have considered swapping them for the 16+ LEDs. Agree that the forward lighting is great but side lighting is lacking without the XB foglights on.
Again folks contact The Retrofit Source and they will make things right. My light output dropped considerably a few months ago and after sending pics of the bulbs they sent out new ones. Great customer service for sure.
