Unless the tax incentives.... if you sell private party you have to claim as income. Trade it in, comes off the cost of the vehicle for tax.... at least in az.... 40new truck 10 for your old now only paying tax on 30... since you already paid the tax on the vehicle the first time. Also oem steps have an oem factory or extended warranty since they came with vehicle. My 12 lml had defective brackets thanks to poor amp manufacturering and were redesigned. So after paying to install them, I was the one who spent hours fixing them and tweaking them to fit better. Not worth it. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

You will like it.... i hate my wifes 2015 grand Cherokee.... more recalls then I have had on all the rest of my vehicles added up in my life. Ecodiesel. I added a DC power 270 xp. 270 amps max i think 200 at idle. When the computer turns on the factory both turn on and run... it works great. No complaints. I had a new charge wire made 2 Gauge (my bad thought 0 gauge but rated for the amps) but looks factory and added the on battery fuse panel. One alt is hooked up to each battery and with the factory line above the radiator together. I guess you could find an old one wire and run it... dc power can make anything you want... they even have 300amp and more... mine is the hairpin stator model. A local place can make them as well for less. I also have two new agms now... x2 power from batteries plus. Also added a larger ground from the engine. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

On my 12 I added a second alt but used it too combine with the factory. The newer gm ones use the bcm to tell them when to charge. Yes I had to get bolts and a bracket, idler and longer belt. Also charge wires and i tied into the stock harness with a factory connector to make it charge.. your setup will be different... maybe easier to tie into the stock charging and use an adapter like milwaukee makes for power tools. Maybe heat the pedal in a way to bend it if it wouldn't cause a strength issue... i miss my 05 with the spring loaded gas pedal that tilted on the pedal and you could push it down... my 12 with adjustable pedals sucks because they removed that feature Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

My buddy hauled a pvc pipe and that happened... I had that happen in my gmc someone almost hit me.... I should have let them, I poped them out with pry bars and a punch with rags and boards.. looks mint on my gmc. Mine were dents but I was still pissed... Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

A guy on dmax forum made the replacement charge wire to look factory and the plug in wire for the alt to turn on.... I bought the passenger side battery fuse block and modified it to fit the drivers side and added the large fuses... ideally you could have just replaced the stock alt but since my new alt puts out 125amps idle and 270max, not sure I would trust the stock charge wire, I would replace that. Also not pictured I added the stock ground off of a chassis frame as it was twice the size from the firewall to the engine as my stock one. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
