  1. yeah, Ive scaled mine a couple times. It tows pretty good. 6.2 is such a great motor. Its a tall, long trailer though, so you still feel the wind at times
  2. anyone who's done the swap, can you post a photo showing the red dash but blue radio lights together? I understand you can keep the red but you lose the upgraded icons. Trying to decide which route to go.
  3. Nice looking rig. Like the wheels.
  4. I spoke with Will last evening about it. He said go up to the 2mm disc, and adjust the wdh hitch now, add some more tongue weight. So thats my this evening plan.
  5. 33 feet. About 7800lbs, give or take. 6.2 in the truck with Max trailering
  6. yeah, I probably should have a 2500. But right now, it tows well. Much better than my 09 Silverado did when we first got the trailer. I think the max trailering package really makes a difference.
  7. yeah, I'd never go without. Besides the WD I really want the anti sway.
  8. That and a lot more. Helps with body roll, axle wrap, braking, etc.
  9. I only did a short 30sec test drive. You do notice how much tighter the rear feels, less roll. Going camping this Friday, see how much they help. Unsure if I should adjust my wdh now or just wait and see if I need to put more tongue weight on.
  10. And done Maybe increased rear .5"
  11. have the same XL tires. Very happy with them. I see no reason for my use to go to a LT tire at this point.
  12. Anyone have a squeaky Bilstein strut? Ive got a squeak up front, passenger side. if I stand on the running board and rock the truck, squeak squeak squeak. Everything seems tight that I can tell. EDIT...so it was the main top strut nut. Wasnt totally loose, but enough that it would allow movement and the squeak. Replaced the sway bar bushing chasing the squeak and managed to snap one of the bolts. YAY
  13. yeah, I'd have called ahead to make sure, set one aside if I was going by at proper time. Another spot closer to Rochester I emailed about. Don't save the tax in NY though.
  14. So Im totally going by a Capworld in North Hampton...the problem is Im going by through the night Friday, and back again on Sunday lol. doh
  15. did it end up lifting the rear some?
  16. Agreed. Also.. Installed yet??
  17. Just a matter of finding a cdn supplier. Only one listed on their website, waiting on reply from them. Have you found them cheaper anywhere? I'll be passing down through the states next weekend.
  18. I think i watched a couple installs on F150s, they said it raised them maybe an 1-1.5" or so in the rear. Nothing huge, but worth nothing. I want to get something to help a bit with some pogoing on the highway when towing the TT.
  19. let us know how much it raises the rear. Ive seen a few mention that. I was leaning towards airbags, or a sway bar..this sorta has the best of both in a way, and more. Only issue is price and availability in Canada.
  20. no lift on stock truck w z71
