  1. the dealer fix will not last long, but i guess you probably didnt read this whole thread about that.
  2. i'm actually keeping a log of every tank, the octane of the gas, the mpg, and where it was purchased. on 6.2l i'm getting the same or less mpg i do with 87 so far. i can tell a difference in power though, 93 is much easier to keep in v4 and accelerate without pushing hard on the pedal.
  3. just curious what airaid does with the two valve vents. do they connect to the new intake?
  4. ltz tom, what did you do with that huge stock intake that has the tubes connected back to the valve cover? i see you have airraid already, so maybe you pull that when you install the kit? i didn't even realize i had it until this week when i pulled the tb.

  7. i took mine back and dealer said seat clamps still in place so they secured with screws. maybe they are reading this forum also.
  8. i had mine done a month ago with the same seat clips and its moving again. its not a permanent fix.
  9. ive been testing 93 octane in my 6.2 however i'm seeing terrible mpg. i do all city driving, and its around 13.9 and has brought my lifetime down to like 14 or 15.
  10. i called a dealer to ask about the headlights and they told me they havent heard one complaint.
  11. ok trying to get a feel here...i have the premium bose system in my denali, is this not available for that, only the base system without the sub?
  12. so this actually affects mids and highs, its not just an amp/sub?
  13. after i replaced my stock lights with putco bulbs i had one shining straight into the ground. i found i could wiggle the stock projector and it would look better. after an hour of playing i couldn't get it to point straight. i took a half turn up on the adjuster, and back down, and now its shining perfect.
  14. 285r4522 on gm 22's. got them after my stock denali rims got stolen.
  15. if/when mine gets fixed i'll post it.
  16. call another dealer and talk to their service team. just google some random ones in big cities and ask.
  17. talked to my service guy while my truck was in the shop for recall he said "yea we have fixed a few of these already so we'll get yours fixed up also".
  18. if 1" difference is level, then removing the rear blocks makes it level.
  19. it sounds better with it open so i'm leaving it open.
  20. got a bakflip vp installed today. cover, install, tax, and delivery were 866. dude here in dallas does a lot of truck work and he stopped by the house with the cover and installed in about 30 minutes. looks amazing.
  21. take the clamp off, or took the whole flapper off?
  22. no i only pulled rear blocks. everything else is stock.
