  2. Ford starting to have the same problem with their 2.7l, read on. Dozens of Low-Mile 2.7L Ford Bronco Engines Have Already Failed (msn.com)
  3. Yes take it to the dealer and have them put the new undated trans fluid in, its a TSB and you wont be charged. I had mine done over a year ago and my trans is smooth as butter now.
  4. You could always look into these. Solar powered wireless cab lights with 2 remotes. Solar/Battery LED Wireless Cab Running Lights - Cab Over America
  5. Something to think about, you need to do something about the exhaust tips as it looks strange having 3 exhaust tips out the back. (1) go to a muffler shop and have them route the tail pipes to the tips under the bumper or (2) remove the bumper and get a standard bumper with no cut-outs you might be able to trade someone that is looking for that bumper for duel exhaust that someone wants to put on there truck, just a thought.
  6. Analog and Digital clusters get the same signal from the BCM and ECM so that comment does not fly welcome to the new world. Not everybody likes what you like so move on.
  7. Don't feel bad we all been there, I bought a new weedwacker a few years ago after old one died and the 2nd time using it wouldn't start after about a half hour trying to start it iam soaking wet from sweat pulled the plug out twice using a torch to dry the flooded cylinder out of fuel tried starting still nothing then realized the old one had a kill button this new one had a on off switch that I forgot about, switched to on and fired right up, I called myself a bunch of cuss words along with dumb S.O.B.
  8. Has a voice over but still cool.

  9. Reading this site will make you paranoid but I don't believe some of this but iam not saying there's is a not a problem but I have noticed on this site that alot of people come on here with a low meaning 1-10 or so post count saying they have the problem also now are they here just to bring up the hype (troll) the site on the issue. Me I cant see joining a site just to complain on an issue and never heard from again. Best thing to do is talk to your dealers service manager and see what they have to say and not rely on a forum. Back a couple years ago when the oil cooler line blowing off issue was going on I was in our dealership at that time when this was going on I talked to the shop Foreman which is a friend of mine and ask him about the issue he told me he has not seen any trucks come in with the issue but he did a search on dealers around a 100 mile area and only saw 3 oil cooler line issues but those trucks had high miles and were leaking. You saw so many people come on here with low post counts saying they had the issue also and never heard from again then all the sudden that faze was gone. So don't believe everything you read on here. Think about it I could join a Ford forum and say my truck just dropped a piston at 2000 miles and it would create a wave of worries on the forum when I don't even own a Ford.
  10. Its in the fuel tank on the fuel pump (non-serviceable) as it wont clog it will backflush a little to clear filter when you shut the motor off.
  11. You need to read his post again. Traction bars ONLY come into play under quick take offs and good traction where the axle will try and twist the leaf spring, he is saying driving down the road and getting axle hop on bad roads etc that is rear shocks being too soft and the tires losing contact with the road giving him wheel hop. I ran over top leaf spring traction bars when I had 42" tires on my 87 Silverado due to the traction and leverage of the tall tires just to keep everything in check when mud running and off road. I still had wheel hop from time to time spinning the tires to fast in dirt and mud when I wasn't in 4WD but that was eliminated when I went to a dual shock on each corner.
  12. Traction bars do nothing what your saying they do except axle wrap and you do not have the HP and traction to give you axle wrap.
  13. It depends on what you get usually about 1000lbs. The over leaf spring is the easiest to install runs about 50-60 bucks or so and the add a leaf this one you have to take the spring pack apart to add the extra leaf is around 100 bucks and up with the same extra weight capacity but will give you about 1.5 to 2 inches of lift and a rougher ride in the rear. If I were you I would get the over leaf kit no lift just extra capacity. Lift bags will do the same and they run about 400 bucks without the compressor and up with the compressor add a couple more 100 bucks. Before you start into that check your tire load capacity its on the side wall of the tire.
  14. Contact newdude on here he works at a Chevrolet dealership and can get you all the part numbers you need or go to a exhaust shop and they will fix you up on the dual tail pipes, going to an exhaust shop will be alot cheaper then buying the parts . They will just cut the exhaust pipe behind the muffler and "Y" it out then run the pipes to both sides of the bumper and make sure you bring them the exhaust tips to line them up or put them on before you go. If you do it this way make sure they do a true "Y" pipe and not just tap into the pipe because when you start it up when cold one side of the pipe will blow heavy steam out and very little if any on the pipe that was tapped. Thats what I would do.
  15. Copy that, I just read it the wrong way, sorry.
  16. No he has a build date of Nov 2021 so he is outside the defective date.
  17. You also might look into upgrading the rear axles and suspension also axle wrap will be extreme if you do get it to hook to the street those stock axles are going to snap like a toothpick with the HP and Torque your saying.
  18. I am assuming it turns over but not starting? Sounds like fuel problem with fuel pump, fuel filter or coil not giving spark to me See if it starts by spraying starting fluid down the carb.
  19. All normal, mine runs the same temps year around as to the oil pressure also, pressure goes up as engine speed increases nothing to worry about
  20. 100% correct, and to buy a CAI to save on fuel mpg is just not thinking and your not saving. Think about it you spend a few hundred bucks on a CAI to save on fuel it will take you 10+ years to get your money back on the price of the CAI in fuel savings with the little bit of mpg gain which your not gaining. Fuel mpg will change from tank to tank fills based on driving style and conditions. I used to check my mpg just for the hell of it and it would very anywhere from 2-3 mpg better to the same mpg lower based on driving and my truck is totally stock.
  21. Around here in Maryland when the price per barrel went up the pump price rose the next day. I could see if it was a high volume station but our stations are in the suburbs and not a high volume station. Our current administration is loving this high price fuel it makes there green deal look better and better and there NOT going to do nothing about it. If they do then it will make them like there giving in and they were wrong.
  22. Price per barrel dropped today around 10% now why hasn't gas dropped at the pump? When the price per barrel went up the price at the pump went up almost instant. Greed and profit. Come November I bet we will be pumping our own oil again due to the elections coming that way they can say "look what we did to help the country's gas supply" so it will look good for them and people that have no clue will vote in their favor.
