  1. I agree that's not the same jingle issue noise others were hearing, you have something else going on. Really hard to get a good probability by a video.
  2. Taking it to a different dealer is not going to help as what your dealership entered in the comments the system will show at every dealership.
  3. Exactly right, wind chill is only felt on living things.
  4. As said above your problem with the rough ride is the tires, 22" wheels have a low profile tire so there is no give to the tire when hitting bumps in the road. Small sidewall tires have a very stiff sidewall compared to a 17 or 18" tire that have a taller sidewall so your problem is the rim size, going to a 20" wheel will improve some but not enough really to notice but going to a 17 or 18" rim with the taller sidewall it will be like night and day improvement. When we bought our 2020 Equinox as a 3rd vehicle my wife wanted to test drive one that had the big rim small sidewall tire and I told her its going to ride rough as hell but she wanted to anyway during the drive she said your right its driving like a go-cart then we got into the other one with the standard rims and taller sidewall tires she was happy like riding on a cloud.
  5. Paint on all vehicles is no way near like they were back then as the paint now is all water base at every manufacture, very soft, thin and scratches easy. I use a very soft cotton towel to remove wax. My sisters BMW X7 M60i paint is the same way soft and scratches easy.
  6. Been running plastic liners since 1987 in various trucks through the years and never had a rust problem paint chaffing yes but no rust. We had a 1993 GMC yard truck at work with a plastic liner and in 2016 they had it in the shop doing repairs now this truck was beat all to hell and back, they had the bed off and liner removed to access the bolts and not one spot of rust in that bed chaffing yes. On this truck I have a plastic liner and a rubber mat just to keep things from sliding around that don't need to be tied down. My neighbor has a spray-in liner, he loaded it up with a bulk load of red mulch now his liner has red tint stains on it, looks terrible.
  7. Its not missing, when I had my 2015 HD I saw that to and brought it up to the service manager friend of mine at the dealership and told me none of them had the bolt on the lot as I checked they use it as an alignment hole during assembly.
  8. You're really not missing nothing if you don't have sport mode, I have it and its nothing to write home about and never really understood why it would be in a truck anyway.
  9. Our local Chevy dealership here in Maryland is offering 5000 off on trucks also.
  10. I read somewhere awhile back ago that it was bad batch's of lifters and components that were not heat treated properly which led to their failure. If it was a bad design then this would be massive. The 5.3 and 6.2 motor could have been built way before being put in the truck or SUV and sitting in stock waiting to be installed.
  11. I would contact the dealer and tell them about it as there is a TSB out on this. Even when you do a fluid change your not going to get all of it out it really needs to be flushed and the new updated fluid put in.
  12. From the info that was put out on these lifters its not the design of the lifters it was how the lifters were made and not properly heat treated from the manufacture the lifters came from. On a side note a friend of my brother-in-law was saying as we were talking the friend of his works for Hyundai service dept. he said his shop replaces 1 motor a day on those vehicles as they have the lifetime warranty on the motors he said he has seen them with as little as 5,000 miles to 130,000 miles I said man they really junk and he said they were he has 28 motors waiting on the truck to come pick them up. He laughed and said its pretty sad we have to keep at least 20 motors in stock.
  13. If it were me I would get it fixed. those little scratches may come out with wax and the big scratch was it a plastic mailbox or metal box? The big one from the picture looks like a rub mark and that may come out. I would take it to a detail shop and see what they say. If the big one is a scratch your looking at rust later if you leave it.
  14. I hope you mean you ordered it in Feb of 2022. If you ordered in 2021 your coming up on 21 months and I don't think your getting it.
  15. Going to sound 10x louder due to you being in the garage with the exhaust aimed inside the garage taking the video as the sound will be amplified.
  16. 20-NA-218 1..5 (nhtsa.gov)
  17. Can't believe as much time you spend on this site you just now figured this out that this will be a later retrofit.
  18. Don't know why you want to leave the truck running and leave but anyway when I am hooking up my trailer and the truck is running I just leave the driver's door open a little it doesn't beep.
  19. If I were you I wouldn't mess with liners you could do something like this in your situation. Rust-Oleum 248657 Rubberized Undercoating Spray, 15 oz, Black - Spray Paints - Amazon.com
  20. Same here Stan I remember using a sliced beer can to repair a hole in the exhaust pipe with muffler tape wrapped around. Got a hole in the muffler nothing but muffler putty couldn't fix same fix for a hole in the gas tank. Hole in the radiator solder seal or bars leak would take care of that. I use to carry a hammer in the car to wrap on the starter to get it to work. Brings back a lot of memories. As a kid I watched my dad break down a tire off the rim by running over the tire laying on the ground to break the bead and then using crow bars to remove the tire and in reverse to install the new tire on the rim tire balancing didn't exist, all bias tires.
  21. No your only adding 1/2" to the height of the truck for the tires. If a tire is 1" taller than the other side by side when its mounted on the truck it will only raise the truck 1/2".
  22. Trolls, trying to create panic. I always don't put much trust in people with 1 or so post counts like the great line of " same thing happened to me" with only a 1 or very few posts.
