Since the rebuild I love the truck again but I notice that with the stock tune you can notice the torque management easing in to the next gear way too much. It reminds me of when someone rides the clutch too much to try and smooth out the operation of a standard tranny.

So agree! Horrible way to do business.

I would consider the larger tire to be taxing on the trans and would have the fluid filter changed. Maybe some other guys can chime in also about whether switching the Torque management off will actually help. In theory I would think yes but get some more opinions.

WOW. I'm excited to have found this thread. I had seen your video of the install, Waterfowler41! Have a '16 Silverado Crew cab, just did the pro kit Eibach rear shocks and love them. I was about to start the front when I found this thread. I just ordered the Rough Country UCA's and plan to do a diff drop as well. I'm gonna set the fronts at 3.2".
