  1. I just did this, one leg was a little hard to fit in but it now works and i love it!
  2. Would it be possible to add a second tank? My friend had a truck that had 2 tanks and you would switch between using one or the other.
  3. I'll into them. Getting new rims is not to much of an issue. Though I do like these rims. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  4. So i need some help, i just don't fully understand it all and I don't want to mess this up. I want and will be getting the 4 inch BDS suspension list at the end of next month. But I know what the optimal wheel / rim combo i need to get for a 33inch tire to fit within the truck wheel well and have minimum trimming. So i know i want to get Grid Off Road GD -7. The 18 inch rims offer offsets of -20 to +15. So from reading around and talking to shops, I would want to have a positive offset if anything. Do I want to have a full +15 offset to keep things inside, what would be the best offset so the tire stays inside with minimum rubbing? Now I am trying to figure out what tires i can get and use. I want at least a 33 inch tire if not possible a 34 inch. Can i get away with a 34 inch with little trimming? I am thinking of TOYO Tires - Open Country A/T II (LT 295/70r18 (34 inch) or should i just go with the 33x12.50r18LT tires instead? Or the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 (LT305/65r18 which is 33.58 high 61 lbs each) or WILDPEAK A/T3W TIRE ( LT275/70R18 which is 33.4 inches, 61 lbs each). They all look like sweet tires, i just want it all fit. If this combo doesn't work, then what would work as a good tired for the rim and suspension setup? I could really use some help with this, thanks.
  5. Man and I just bought matching door handles. Now I wish I didn't. Lol Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  6. What kit did you use and where did you tap it to connect to the dome light. I would like to do the same as well. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  7. I am looking to get a bds 4 inch lift. So if I change to cognito upper control arms then I should be able to fit my oem 18 inch rims? I like my rims. I don't they are bad. But right now I would rather not spend the cash on new rims if I don't need too. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  8. You should see CT and it's property tax of vehicles. I have a 2014 and I still pay something like 600 this year. It could have been more. When I first bought my truck it was something around 900 dollars in property tax. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  9. So I am looking to get new rims and tires. It's one of the only things holding me back from a 4 bds lift. I just dont know what I want. I was wondering what people think of these rims? Not sure if I would go with 18 inch or 20 inch rims. But I do want to put toyo AT tires on them for sure. 33inch to be specific, maybe if they have ones that get close to 34 inch. http://www.bbwheelsonline.com/grid-off-gd07-wheels-rims-black-anthracite-gray-bronze/ I am leaning to the brown / anthracite as I have an iridium truck and I think they would stand out. Or maybe the gray but that might be too dull. What do people think? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  10. I love your rims man Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  11. There are a lot of us on this board. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  12. So the rear didn't go that much higher. Can I ask what is your height all the way to the shark fin on the top of truck? I want to know if it will under 80 inches or not. Thanks. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  13. Well now I don't feel alone. Same boat man. Do I level or go with 4 inch BDS Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  14. So question to all the guys who have a 4inch suspension lift (BDS) with 33 inch tires. How tall is your overall truck now? Does the whole truck lift up 4inches or just the front and the back by like 2 since the rack? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  15. I'm torn between leveling my truck now or adding a 4inch BDS suspension. I figure something in-between would work. So if I got a coilovers from fox or king I would be able to raise it the 2 inches or so and level it without major issues? Would I need to replace anything else in the process? I so wish I knew what I would like best and just get it done. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  16. Center out great. I tried to do the same but had issues. But didn't think of using a wood burning kit to do that. Great idea! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  17. I had to jump my truck a dozen times and I followed the proper procedure. I don't drive it but on the weekends and some weekends I didn't drive it. I bought an odyssey battery and haven't had issues since. If you haven't modified the electrical in anyway take it to the dealership to test the battery. The OEM battery failed on mine. 18. So that was what I was looking to do. Reuse my 18 inch rims when I got a BDS 4 inch lift. So there is really no way to include them with out a space which will stick them even further out from the body of the truck? Is it possible to get aftermarket 18 inch that will work? Or really 18 should be avoided? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  19. Very nice. It's a similar setup that I want to get. I want the 4 inch BDS lift. How far out do the tires stick? I read because of the knuckle on the BDS lift that the front is out further than the rears. So I assume they stick out a bit and you need to get fender flares. But from the picks it looks like you don't need that. Maybe if I don't go for as wide as a tire, they will tuck in just nicely. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  20. Did you have to do any trimming for the 35s to fit? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  21. Love the stance. What lift / tires / rims do you have setup? Trying to figure out the height. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  22. I kept my old beater car to use as a daily driver. They were only going to give me 1k for the trade in. Glad I kept it. I drive it Monday through Friday. My truck is 3 years old and I finally hit 20k on it. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  23. I'm debating the coilovers. They are expensive and I'll never see off road. Might be better getting some 5100s instead. Do you think it be possible to use spacers and keep my stock 18s OEM. I do like the wheels. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  24. Nice thank you. Did you do a coil over or went with the non coil over kit? I assume if you are keeping stock wheels you are running 20s? I have 18 inch rims and from what I could read and been told I'll have to replace them or run spacers but I think will just make my wheels stick out too much. Also I want pics from the side! Hope you love the setup when it comes. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  25. I am looking to get a BDS suspension lift too. Not sure if I want a 4 or 6. Can you do me a favor and when you get can you tell me how tall does your truck end up standing? I am trying to figure out the over all height to make sure it fits in my garage. From what I can gather it should end up being 80 to 81 inches tall. Also did you have to have some trimming done to fit the 35s? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
