    How much water do you get through yours when it rains? I know I have no choice but tap the plugs and run the drainage down.

    Dont remind me .... extang are as they put it designed to channel the nile river. If it wasn't for the ability to open both sides Id drop it

    How much did that cost you can I ask? Also drove to work today 40 miles. I averaged 23 miles on the trip and my best 25 miles was 25.8 miles.

    Wow thats some service. I have the extang encore and the rails collect water like the Nile river. I am waiting for the next storm to confirm the panels leak at the center of the bed or not. If so I will contact them back. I was sending a bunch of emails to Just dying for the rain so I can see what happens. I might be joining you in returning it soon... encore is a product to avoid. The g4 elite seem to be awesome. I just really wanted a duel opening cover.

    How good are the helm manuals? Are they worth having? I assume they just show the parts and how they are assembled not like other manuals that help in repairs and trouble shooting?

    Yes you can actually...... there is a real low end model that comes with that. Ill have to find it.

    So I bought the extang encore tonno and the amount of water passing through the drainage tubes amazes me and shocks me. So I am curious about everyone else. How much water do you get in your bed and how much goes through the drainage tubes? Also what brand do you have? I am arguing with them that this is jot normal and they are telling me all tonno covers leak to a degree. I am so far disappointed with them.

    I sent them an email and they told me all tonno covers leak in some way thats why you need to put in the drainage tubes. Who here has no issues with their tonno cover (different brand). Do you guys add the drainage tubes or not?

    So I bought the extang encore tonno cover because the ability of opening both sides appeals to me greatly. I am wondering if anyone else bought it recently? I love the ability to open both sides of the tonno cover but today it rained in ct and so I decided to test it. It rained and it went through the cover. I had never thought that much water would poor into the side channels and collect. It really sucks and I am thinking ill never put anything in there with fear of it getting wet ( clubs and clothing).

    Im not arguing with your point and it is fair. They have included all new hosts of amenities in trucks no seen before but you can not discount the cost of inflation. The original post was saying how his salary has not gone up as fast as inflation compared to trucks and im mentioning that its the fed and its inflation. Jordan shoes in the 80s were priced at 100 dollars or something like that and if they were released today it would be in the 300s. Inflation or better yet the destruction of the usa dollar......

    Depends. I got a loan for 72 months for 1.9%. Doesn't bother me at all. I plan to over pay each month to get my monthly payments down quickly. Once I get it down to 250 a month ill leave it at that. 1.9% is cheap in the long run compared to inflation

    Totally Agree. I bought an SLE and I got it with the extended warranty and everything out the door for 40k. It will be the last new vehicle I will be buying....(actually first as well).

    I just received my Encore Tonno cover Tri fold where I can open from both the front of the bed and the back of the bed. I like the cover a lot even though it seems not to lock easily from the front of the bed. I think I need to fudge around the rail system a little more.
